Both parties are just as bad, and Hilary just as bad as Trump. Trump just makes no effort to hide that he's a dick but  it's a case of two extremes here and middle ground and common sense is needed. That requires compromise and working together, and neither are really willing to do that. Hilary is bad but Sanders is far left and extremely liberal which helped get this country in this mess in the first place.

Another shooting last night, 25 miles from me this time. Crazy...

Indeed.  Far left is probably somewhere near the centre ground over in the UK.

Poles apart on policy from Hillary.  Warren is more like Sanders.
Explained myself badly, I meant in terms of rabble rousing charisma. Maybe I'm missing it, but don;t see her in that mould.

I beg to differ, living in LA it's liberal beyond belief with safe spaces, pronouns, and feelings hurt if you dare speak the truth. And it's the same in all major cities. I don't see the UK as that far left....yet.

That’s not left.

That’s just modern day wankerism.

It may well turn out to be far more dangerous than left wing really was.

They really don’t like the truth though.

Tears and tantrums

The censorship is appalling, has the human race learned nothing?

Humans never learn anything. It's just a case of history repeating itself but with better (or worse) technology.

What you've described la is liberalism, that's not left politics at all. It's what has caused this great polarisation in politics.

P. S. Hope you're nowhere near the Bush fires

It was a bit of a rhetorical question.

I’m aware that we have learned fuck all.

Although they may well have taken the total lack of a sense of humour to new heights.

Even the English have joined in with this, and although I’m seldom slow at picking faults with the English, a lack of a sense of humour has never been their problem.

Trump's decision to withdraw troops from Syria is as welcome as it is unfathomable.

Is he no longer a puppet of Aipac? No.
Has Bashar been defeated? No.

It is madness for the west to be in the Middle East but do they think we are so stupid that we will just forget all the lies they told us? I was in the House of Commons for the "let's drop bombs on Syria" debate. It was our first and only visit there and we thought it great timing when we arrived and saw the agenda. We only lasted half an hour. It was surprisingly poorly attended by our elected representatives and the quality of the various speeches was unbelievably bad. Worst of all was The Times the next morning - available at the hotel, I wouldn't buy the fucking rag - which totally misrepresented direct quotes from the house.

Something big is happening behind the scenes. We have the right to know what. When they spend billions of our money on agendas that were clearly lies, we need to know where our money went and if it was spent properly. It's impossible to cover lies with more lies but why the sudden change in policy?
