Saints vs dons

Absolutely critical game for our quest of legitimately challenging hearts for third, and to a degree hibs of course. Really tight from 3rd-7th.

our record against them down there isn’t bad, and we’ve already beaten them a couple of times this season. Given the turnaround that Robson et al appear to have made (still time to go on Rico’s 15 game bounce), we should go into this with full confidence. Would be nice if killie and Motherwell could do us a favour, with saints and livi drawing.

hopefully no one has managed to get any knocks on international duty. Would we change much from the way we set up against hearts? Not sure, seemed to work pretty well last time out and nice to see the best of Clarkson again.

A game we would have lost under previous management. Very poor for large chunks of the game and Saints keeper chucking it in the net aside did not look like scoring. However as others have said a win a win and we are now 1 point behind a collapsing Hearts.

Good three points. Rotten game to watch. Devoid of cutting edge against ten men.

Hayes, rama and both centre halves really the only players that turned up today.

Felt watkins probably deserved more time as bojan again offered very little threat. McGowan did a good job on Duk to be fair.

Watched the majority of the game back, we were clearly worth the three points but fuck was that painful to watch. That said, Roos also kept us in the game at 0-0, but overall I think we deserved it. I mean we should have anyway, given they played the vast majority of that game in 10 men (thanks and happy birthday consi). Can’t believe how the results worked in our favour this weekend. Happy days.
