Match Thread: Hibs v Dons

Darren Mackie looks set to miss the trip to Hibernian after picking up a knock in the draw with Bayern Munich.

Alan Maybury should be fit to play, while Stuart Duff should be back in contention, but Richard Foster, Jamie Smith and Richie Byrne are out.

Hibs captain Rob Jones is a doubt due to a persistent thigh problem, although Brian Kerr and Chris Hogg are expected to be available.

Mixu Paatelainen has no other injury worries ahead of the match.

Provisional Hibernian squad: Ma-Kalambay, Gathuessi, Hogg, Zarabi, Murray, Rankin, Morais, Chisholm, Beuzelin, Kerr, Shiels, Fletcher, Nish, McNeil, Zemmama, Benjelloun, Stevenson, Chisholm, O'Brien, Jones, Hanlon

Provisional Aberdeen squad: Langfield, Mair, Maybury, Diamond, Considine, Duff, Bus, Walker, Nicholson, Severin, Aluko, Miller, Lovell, Maguire, de Visscher, Touzani, Dan Smith, Soutar.

Good news: Jones is maybe out

Bad news: Duff is available

We are going to get treated very badly today folks.  ::)

Duff on the bench, JDV in for Walker, Bus in for Considine. Der Kaiser ill apparently rather than another needless change to the back line.

that info was from that donkey from bbc sportsound who's set to commentate on our game.

the team is langfield, maybury, bus, diamond, mair, seve, barry, sone, jeffrey, miller, macguire

subs- lovell, walker,  jonny smith, karim, duff, soutar and carrol.

Nae Bus again? Is it too late to change my prediction?

He's playing. Maguire, dear fuck Jimmy, get a set of fucking eyes.

FUCKING YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!

Get in big man!

Okay goal.

4 goals this season - more than Brewster!

We sound pretty decent at the moment! Though we should be more than one up already!  :hammer:

Always a concern when you don't take chances, especially when it's us! ;)

At least we seem to be playing well.

Exacto mundo! Positive football, love it!

65% possession. Just seen first half highlights - no Hibs action at all, and a blatant passback by Hibs too went unnoticed!

Who's the ref?

Seve seems to be playing really well.

Fucking typical. ::)

We canny keep clean sheets.

Fuck

You just knew it was coming. Why oh why do we never take our chances?!?!?  :hammer:

1 NIL AND WE FUCKED IT UP!

Yet a-fucking-gain.

Maguire, I obviously haven't seen any of this but I bet he's been as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Sounds a hugely entertaining game. Pity it's one we could have had the cigars out for at half time instead of  struggling for a fucking point.

FUCK - Duff just hit the bar - then lovell fucked up the rebound - Lovell is shite  :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

So's Duff.

This sounds very reminiscent of that 1-2 christmas game a few years back. That was a cracker. Though highly frustrating.

This should have been finished in the first half. How many times have we almost equalised? It's not good for the heart!

Yellow card offence in the box = a penalty doesn't it?

Yellow card offence in the box = a penalty doesn't it?

Yes, if the ball is in play when the offence occurs.
