Killie v AFC

Right guys got a dilemma here......

Stated when Johnston voted the way he did, that I wouldn't pay to get back in that ground despite the fact it is closest SPL ground to me. Part of me says I'm still not giving a penny of my cash to him, but the other part would like to go on Sunday. Other dilemma is that last season was first time I missed an Aberdeen game there since I moved down here in the summer of '94, and low and behold our results there start improving.

Should I stay at home or should I go lads  ???

Red card for me. In the air, studs up, uncontrolled. Aye he pulled out but very late. Had a Killie player did the same I'd have wanted him off.

I'm not sure, don't think there was much in it to be honest.  Quite clearly pulls out and there were no studs showing upon impact.  I'd like the club to appeal that.  It definitely looked worse in real time and I'm not surprised the referee sent him off, but I think it's worth an appeal.

I don't think he did pull out, just that he had travelled so far that by the time he reached the Killie player he was slowing down naturally. His two feet were off the ground and it was a lunge. When that happens you have little control over your body, certainly not enough to allow you to pull out of it. Deserved red card and if we appeal it his ban will be increased I'd imagine.

Fair enough Bobby, he did initiate the "tackle" quite a distance away so I guess it would make sense.  As I said, I can see why the Ref gave it, but didn't think it was anywhere near as bad upon impact.

On a side note, Hector's post match interview was great.  Very clear he enjoyed his time with us and wants to come back.

Purely my own opinion, but think we need to pick our battles and don't actually think this is one we will win, so no appeal from me.

On side issue, would love to punch that prick Pasquali's (??) face in. Notice him trying to do the refs job and pointing off the park immediately at Low

Great result, grateful that the only chance I had to listen to the game included the goal though I did get some funny looks from the folk next to me in the queue to the roundabout when It went in.  COYR

Watched the highlights. Reckon we have grounds of an appeal for Lows red card. As I see it he was already pulling out and it was his momentum that took out the killie player.

No studs shown etc

Yellow card at worst

That was my view at the time and it still as after seeing it again on TV. Very harsh red card.

Ref was boiling my fucking piss the whole game. Utterly horrific ref. Although I don't see the fuss about the Kris Boyd "goal". He pulled Russell back and then chipped the ball into the net ages after everyone (including Langfield) had stopped playing so I don't know how it can even be referred to as a disallowed goal. Fuck Kris Boyd and fuck Killie. Hopeless team who created absolutely nothing off their own backs and have a horrible support.

I would have preferred the lower deck to have been opened rather than the upper part. The ground would've looked empty on TV and the atmosphere is better with the fans closer to the pitch.

Anyway. We didn't play all that well but we still ground out a bloody brilliant result and that's the sign of a good team! Let's keep the momentum going!
