Brown signed him as a striker. He isn't here as a striker though he has had the "roving commission" occasionally.

 

Fair enough, any time I've seen him he's been playing off Vernon as a support striker

I fucked that right up. You're absolutely right ED. He IS here as a striker.

He's the best striker we've had in our midfield for years. 

and let's not forget big josh. he's the probably the best ever goalkeeping striker we've converted into a midfielder to play in our defence.

tbh it's a pretty pointless stat which positions goalscorers play in.

 

 

i'd like to see info on who's getting the assists, and compare to last season to see what kind of delivery worked for Vernon.

Or because he used to play in goals mean he get put down as a goalkeeper regardless of where he was signed to play?...

I don't understand, which position has the majority of our goals come from

 

The pie chart is colour coded, visually you can see it is the players registered as mid-fielders who are chipping in the most goals.
