Aberdeen FC boss makes players sweat on new deals

Brown will wait until after Hampden clash

Published: 30/03/2012

THE Aberdeen FC players whose contracts are coming to an end will have to wait at least another fortnight before learning their fate.

Darren Mackie, Isaac Osbourne, Jamie Langfield, Yoann Folly, Rory McArdle, Youl Mawene, Danny Uchechi, Josh Magennis and Mohamed Chalali are the group of first team squad members sweating over new deals.

Aberdeen FC boss Craig Brown today confirmed he has already decided who he definitely wants to keep but has decided not to tell the players until after their Scottish Cup semi-final clash with Hibs on April 14.

Who should we keep?

Mackie and Langfield would b first on my list to have been shown the door years ago!!!

If they canna easily b replaced then we r in trouble.

Like someone else said, they are deadwood and have been a long time ago!!

Personally reckon Mackie will be here next season

We'll get the usual crap about easy to deal with etc......

In reality we'll all know that is only because nae other fucker wants him

hibs are after clangers apparently. if he's anything like he was before the seizure i'd hat to play against him. good shot stopper.

We'll need to have shots at goal before that is a pressing issue for us

I'd drive Clangers to Easter Road myself. I don't think he's a bad player.. but that 9-0 was the final nail in his mentally weak coffin.
