mizer
Aberdeen manager Craig Brown is hoping Peter Pawlett can provide the creative spark required to lead the Dons into the top six of the SPL. The Scotland under-21 international is on the verge of a starting role after netting a hat-trick in a 4-0 friendly match against Forfar on Monday. Torryloon
So he doesn't think Chalali and Uchechi are creative? Why did he sign them up if he never plays them?
mizer
So he doesn't think Chalali and Uchechi are creative? Why did he sign them up if he never plays them? Because its Craig Brown.
glasgow sheep
a more pertinent question maybe why he didn't play PP before he was injured other than for 15mins at the end of games
manc_don
This defies all logic. He should have been getting more game time before he was injured in the first place!
mizer
a more pertinent question maybe why he didn't play PP before he was injured other than for 15mins at the end of games Because its Craig Brown - no need to push forward until the last 10 mins. glasgow sheep
Because its Craig Brown - no need to push forward until the last 10 mins. That was the frustrating thing last weekend, where we actually created some chances in the last 10mins. As I just posted in the Today's Fitba thread, it is so close in the middle of the table. 0-0s will kill us however and with celtic, 'well, hearts and united all coming up in the next few weeks we MUST win on Sat to have any hope of top6 (having said that I could see us boring our way to an unbeaten run till the split at this rate, finishing 8th)
glasgow sheep
Usual fun filled stats to follow later but as a wee teaser how about this as a (dis)incentive to head down from Aberdeen for a 12noon KO.......fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately a 15min train journey is close enough to ensure I'll be there: The last 10 SPL games involving either team: Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone Hibernian 0-0 Aberdeen Aberdeen 1-0 Dunfermline Rangers 1-1 Aberdeen Aberdeen 0-0 Kilmarnock Dundee Utd 0-0 St Mirren St Mirren 0-0 Motherwell Inverness CT 0-0 St Mirren St Mirren 0-2 Celtic Hearts 5-2 St Mirren 6/10 have been 0-0. Of the remaining 4 only 1 game has had more than 2 goals. Aberdeen and St-Mirren have scored 2 goals each over the course of each teams last 5 games, (0.4 goals/game) St Mirren have gone 431 mins without a goal. Aberdeen have gone 246 mins without a goal. Torryloon
Another great advert for the SPL beamed to the nation on satellite TV. At least it's only on ESPN here so only those interested in compulsive boredom will be interested. Al Jazeera have it as well though. Tyrant
a more pertinent question maybe why he didn't play PP before he was injured other than for 15mins at the end of games Agreed. Never bothered with him before so why's that changed? Not that I'm against starting the boy like.

TENEMENTFUNSTER
Fallon, nothing fucking doing there AT ALL and just put Fyvie oot his misery, drop him in advance of his impending move to the premiership. Mawene, deary me but we are shockingly exposed yet again by pace on the wings. Brown is another in the line of wages thieves at Pittodrie, quite how any manager thinks having a back line of centre backs is either effective or acceptable is beyond me. Fucking fuck this. That front line should be doing fucking 12 hour shifts to learn how to fucking cross and shoot, they are disgraceful.
