Ifil signs for Bristol Rovers

...until the end of the season. Their manager said that they were looking for a "no nonsense defender".

Good luck to him.

But compared to Ifil......................

Yeah.... Padre is still right................

Bristol Rovers went down by a single goal at the Memorial Stadium this evening.

A defensive mix up gifted the visitors the only goal of the game when Conrad Logan's clearance hit Jerel Ifil and fell into the path of Kayode Odejayi, who slotted the ball home.

Just been sent off.

Ifil is quite possibly the worst player I've ever seen in a Rovers shirt and considering some of the rubbish we've witnessed over the past 10 years that takes some doing

And this after they thought that he would be a 'great addition'!

I've got some respect for Ifil.

Supposedly Brown pulled him into his office at Pittodrie and said - more or less - you're not good enough for us and we need to let you go.

When Ifil got his gig at BR, he text Craig Brown and said thank you for his honesty and the respect he showed him and also for the advice he'd given him for his future.  Shows Craig Brown in a great light but fair fucks to Ifil, I think many pro footballers these days would never even think of of showing that sort of appreciation to someone who's just released them from a contract.

He was still shite though, right enough.
