Who would you like to see as captain?

 

For me it has to be between Langfield and Diamond.

He is also incredibly prone to making "a total cunt of it" and his temper has the breaking strain of a kitkat.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the young Willie Miller wasn't exactly reknowned for being his calm, implacable, perfect self when Ally made him captain was he. Still seemed to pick up red cards quite frequently if memory serves!

Just an observation but did MBT just compare Willie Miller with Zander Diamond?

TF I compared the "raw" Willie Miller with young Zander yes.

 

And I am old enough to remeber Willie being a bit "rash" at times before he became "best penalty box defender in the world" (A.Ferguson quote)

 

Zander has the commitment and drive to be captain, need to learn the "nous". We'll only find out if he has it if he's given a shot at it.
