TENEMENTFUNSTER
He is also incredibly prone to making "a total cunt of it" and his temper has the breaking strain of a kitkat. So, yes, with reservations.
Sandaldinho
He is also incredibly prone to making "a total cunt of it" and his temper has the breaking strain of a kitkat. thats why he'd be awesome! and lets face it Mark Kerr made 'a total cunt of it' every time he got the ball
Madbadteacher
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the young Willie Miller wasn't exactly reknowned for being his calm, implacable, perfect self when Ally made him captain was he. Still seemed to pick up red cards quite frequently if memory serves!

TENEMENTFUNSTER
Duff for me. Even if he leaves. Especially if he leaves. That would be awesome. Like the Ryder Cup, non-playing captains FTW! Just an observation but did MBT just compare Willie Miller with Zander Diamond?
Madbadteacher
TF I compared the "raw" Willie Miller with young Zander yes. And I am old enough to remeber Willie being a bit "rash" at times before he became "best penalty box defender in the world" (A.Ferguson quote) Zander has the commitment and drive to be captain, need to learn the "nous". We'll only find out if he has it if he's given a shot at it.
