You're talking about value for money. not the same thing as the actual worst player.  He had some very good games for us and was player of the month once, more than can be said for Brian O'Neil, for example.

I dont quite understand your point. It's the naughties. In that period of time (2000-2009), Anderson, without a shadow of a doubt was the best defender and arguably the best player.

No one suggest he was, is or ever will be. Don't quite get why you're directing apparent aggression towards someone who was a very good player and a player who regularly put his neck on the line for us.

Anderson was our best player over that period, but surely Booth, Jess and McNaughton were better home grown talents.

I thought about Jess but I also thought the same about Leighton. My reasoning for having neither in my list was that both were magnificent their first spell here but not that great second time around.

Joking, obviously but I do like your midfield, I think the last two season of Seve pissed me off and I let it cloud my judgment when picking my team, I really like Eric, remember his belting goal at Motherwell from 30+ yards.

Excellent team there BB though I would swap Stavrum for Booth. Imagine having that midfield today...would be the stuff of dreams, especially with Aluko and Pawlett coming off the bench

was never a big fan of Arild,to be honest manc.  Thought Booth was excellent when he came back to us, really intelligent player. Always had the ability and I reckon he came back a better player. Just a shame he was in Paterson's team.
