EE: Aberdeen FC freeze season ticket prices

Aberdeen FC freeze season ticket prices

Red Army facing race for cheap seats

Published: 28/04/2009

ABERDEEN FC fans will have to be quick off the mark if they want to avoid paying more for their season tickets next term.

Aberdeen FC have frozen prices at the same levels as last season, but only until May 30.

Those who take advantage of the Super Saver scheme will pay the same as they did three years ago, but fans purchasing tickets after that have to pay extra.

Supporters who pay at the gate will also be charged an average of £1 extra.

For a full breakdown of the season ticket prices, see today's Evening Express.

Christ, Hibs are expensive for season tickets.  I've always thought our prices are pretty good compared to the rest of the league.

You are paying to watch Brazil tho ;D

I'd say that we should be judging our ticket prices by that of our peers, namely Hibs and Dundee United.

Hearts FC are not a club upon which to use as an example of a good business model!

It will be interesting to see how the other club prices compare to last season. I don't think many clubs have particularly excelled in the last season - so I don't think increases will be justified.

going to by a season ticket this season , put away a tenner for every game i paid at the gate for , so i now have enough to shell out at the time , instead of ending up out of pocket by the end of the season

Crowds are on course for a 4 year high.

Sorcery?

Where are all those thousands that are missing? They can't all have done what Stoney did and went to watch Highland League. Oh, wait . . .

Renewal pack came in the post today

Although, if you're a student, you can't renew online unless you wanna buy an adult one :(

Also got the pack in today. Will wait and see if we make any good signings before commiting. Can't say the football on offer this year has been great so has put me off going back.

I have an elaborate plan designed to provide my support for the team and the lads who pull on the red & white every week but at the same time to show my disaproval of the club management by giving them £0 of my hard earned.

I have put this proposal to the club to allow me access to support the team without money changing hands. They are considering it.

I'll no doubt renew but I've only seen 2 half decent 45mins of football this season at pittodrie, Well and Falkirk.  All the rest has been unremittingly awful.

I take it you missed the Celtic game?
