Phil Connors
He didn't look fit in the first instance, so draw your own conclusions from that.

brownie
He was breathing out his arse after 20 minutes at Rugby Park on Wednesday. He did play well when moved into midfield that night though. I have said it before on here but to repeat, since he has become captain there have been instances where Seve trains when he wants. He will have an "injury" during the week but will miraculously regain fitness on the Friday so he can play at the weekend. No wonder the guy isn't fit, he isn't doing the training required to regain a decent level of fitness. Apparently he has been Bertie Big bollocks since Anderson left and with him being captain nobody will say anything to him. If other rumours are to be believed he isn't the most liked bloke in the dressing room either. As far as I am concerned his continued selection is one of the major reasons as to why we have lacked any real passion or spirit since Russell left. People say Jimmy must go and IMO that is not going to happen. What should happen though is that Seve should have the captaincy stripped from him and given to someone else who will at least try and raise the team. A mate called it in the pub last night: it doesn't matter whether you are going through a divorce or you share a lodge with the manager, if your not capable of lifting your team or even showing a little leadership then you shouldn't be captain.
