Motherwell v Aberdeen

_44926614_motherwell_aberdeen.gif

Motherwell are still without defender Brian McLean, who is recovering from a serious knee injury.

Darren Smith is pushing for a start following last Saturday's 3-2 defeat by Hearts at Tynecastle.

Derek Young and Zander Diamond came through a reserve game unscathed, so Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood has a fully-fit squad.

Recent signing Tommy Wright could make his debut up front after playing against Inverness's second string.

Getting quite excited about the game (its my first of the season) but Im not expecting any fine football - but a result would be good!

Sounds as though Wright turned the game when he came on?

Also sounded as if he could have been sent off for a headbutt...

I had 0-1 Aberdeen

I see you are joint top of the Donstalk league on the BBC predictor as well.

Enjoy it while you can, as you won't be there at the end of the season! ;)

YA DANCER!!!!

YES!

Still think the keeper should have done better although the bounce makes it very very hard for him.

Saturday`s game was the first time I`ve ever been through Motherwell town centre...what a dump!  However the thing which made we laugh the most was the sight of a "Wimpy" restaurant in the shopping centre bit.

I thought like I`d went back into the 80`s man!  Didn`t this establishment go out of business yonks ago???  Obviously not if Lanarkshire still wants to live in the dark ages.

You clearly didn't see Motherwell's tourist attraction then! The metal tree with metal seagulls on it. Absolute peach. Funniest thing was walking through the center and Ajja playing football with some Dandies who'd bought a huge red football. Until it popped that is!  :

I also remember Stuart Pearce say when boss of Manchester City:

"There`s something sexy about a late 1-0 win away from home especially if you`ve not deserved it!"
