stubo72 Posted June 6, 2008 Share Posted June 6, 2008 I thought Nicholas was an excellent player. Loads of vision and linked up brilliantly. I don't think he influenced every game he played in mind but he certainly had a touch of class. He was a good player in his day. I just think he had already had it by the time he came to us. I was busy getting into music, girls and booze at the time, but I do remember being thoroughly frustrated by his performances in a Dons jersey. I'm sure he had the odd good game/parts of games, but I really felt that he was just strolling about much of the time 'being Charlie Nicholas'. How he ended up back at Celtic is beyond me.
