Stonehaven make their debut in Scottish Cup after winning North League.

Yep, it'd have been fairly easy to have said the next two games where they are play one another (one at each scumhole) behind closed doors. They'll be well aware that the Huns next Scottish cup game will be at home to the lowest ranked team in the competition, and that the Tims are minted regardless.

Aye .... there was an opportunity right there .... in the League Cup.

A better decision? .... nae fans at the game. A £200k fine each tae be split evenly among the 10 non-cheeks in the Premier (£40k each) ... and a huge fan zone open on the day, organised at both club's expense - at least 5km from the city centre, free entry, free alcohol, no segregation, no security checks and no restriction on use of pyrotechnics or hand tools. 😄😄

Stonehaven through to first round proper. Draw for that is tomorrow at 6pm.

I was at the last league game between the two which was a surprisingly comfortable win for Linlithgow. Can see the subsequent revelation Linlithgow hadn’t bothered getting paperwork in order for promotion adding a bit niggle. Definitely tie of the round along with Cumnock v Auchinleck. Some journey for Invergordon who are travelling down to Threave in the borders.

1st round proper starts tonight with Cumnock v Auchinleck Talbot which is on BBC Scotland channel at half 7 tonight.

Today’s results

Went along to Civil Service Strolllers v Formartine United game today. Formartine were better team in first half and deserved their lead. Civil came into game more in second half and missed a couple of really good chances before getting caught on the break and giving away a penalty which was converted by Formartine for their second. 

Second round draw today.

I doubt that I can make the trip to Dumbarton for the Mason v Lemon bunfecht as we’re moving hoose 6 days later and I still have to decide if the Dons programmes 1967-about a decade ago when I stopped buying them are to accompany me.

If you do manage, I’ll tell the Boghead Youth Army to stand down and catch you for a pint in the ground.

last time Dumbarton played Keith in the cup, the Sons made the semi. Some no mark prick called Walter Smith scored an OG in the replay 😐
