aaaaargh - so much good about that and yet still so pissed off! Thelin's subs are inexcusable at this point - a few weeks ago we were out on our feet and he didn't make any subs; tonight, absolutely no need to send on all 5 subs, and we end up playing the last 10 minutes with 10 men. Frustrating as phvk, DON'T MAKE ALL 5 SUBS UNLESS NECESSARY why is that so hard to understand?

Will always love Dimi Mitov for obvious reasons but he had a shocker tonight

Fair enough, it’s strange that having been so good defensively over the last few games we revert to conceding three at least two of which we sound like we should have dealt with. Never sure if we are going backwards or forwards these days.

Sake.Last goal stemmed from Polvara bottling a challenge just before their goal.Sickener.We looked good when we upped the tempo(only because we went behind).Try that more often

We actually played better than we have of late although still too pedestrian in the first half. Only once we were a goal down did we play with any urgency and we looked far better. Why can’t we do that from 1st whistle? 
Mitov should not lose the 2nd and 3rd goals- really poor. On the balance of the shitefests of the last few weeks I suppose one would bite us, but what an opportunity missed to be 3 points off of 3rd

Honest to fuck. Best we’ve played overall in ages and this is the game the defence decides to revert to type.

We MUST sign a big hairy arsed centre half that wins everything in the air and can clear his lines, cause that shower are just too weak and get beaten far too often and easily in the air.

Positives, Topi very good again, we showed much more attacking intent and creativity, we moved it much better and we even saw two up front - after which we scored two goals so hopefully JT remembers that.

You just can’t trust that defence and keeper though, they’re just far too weak and lack the required physicality.

It’s been said we’re supposed to be looking for a CH in January - we better be, and he better be a beast cause we need a Pollock & MacDonald type addition to sort this out…

The first was never a pen but St mirren should have had the lead in the first half with a goal wrongly chopped off for a foul on Mitov. Goals 2 and 3 for them are littered with mistakes and whilst Mitov should have saved at least one of them it's not all on him. That said that does feel like one of his worst performances of the season and from the look of him at full time he knows it.  What's frustrating is I thought he was really solid against Livi and looked far more like himself. I think we are defo getting into Thelin has a decision to make territory.

Milne should have just hoofed the ball out of the pitch on the second to avoid all the discussion about defending after that, although Milne has been excellent for the past few weeks and him and Knoester have been the ones that have helped this not losing run. Steven McLean was his usual cuntish self all night. How many fouls did Ayunga make and never spoken to. 

When it comes to injury time, how is it when we are losing there is always 4-5 minutes but when we are up - granted it hasn't happened that often - there always seems to be 7 or 8 and for whatever spurious reason  10+ minutes gets played.

Feels like a defeat but hopefully Lazetic starts to get a regular game, Nisbet just isn't scoring, that heeder in the first half was shockingly bad. I wouldn't mind playing them both but unlikely. Polvara is a must start. Where is Gyamfi?

Before we get tore into our defence, I reckon a few of them are carrying knocks, but no real options to replace anyone.

Created a decent amount of chances and lucky not to score a few more. 
The header by Nisbet in the first half and the Aou cheche in the second half, which then saw them go up the other end and score.

Jensen was miles off it tonight, you could see him hesitate when he got the ball and his decision making was awful.

Going home entertained, which I didn't expect.

VAR ruins football. Sucks all the enjoyment out of it and the time it takes to make a decision is farcical.

He might actually be alright, but I don't think we can really tell yet.

Took var about 10 minutes to check two goals, then Malloy got injured, which meant more time added on.

Aye, just home, good game. Very entertaining. A few costly mistakes from all over the park, and off it with the subs. Some really good performances, with Aouchiche probably the only one really off it tonight. Our legs had thoroughly gone by the end, and it showed. Polvara looked knackered, as did the three defenders. I can understand the five subs because of that, but I think Keskinen could have managed to see the game out, with Armstrong looking a little knackered so understandably taken off. A bit unlucky for Thelin I guess, you probably don't expect your sub to go off. 

VAR does nothing for football. It's making calls that don't matter, and taking fucking ages to do so. It needs to be binned. It's not the operators, as has been seen in Europe, it's anti-sport shite in every single country.

Our defence hasn't been too good for a long time.  As I said after the Motherwell game we're relying on the opposition missing a good few easy chances ('Well, Killie, Hearts) and tonight Saints didn't oblige.

I think that's been cancelled in modern fitba. They're supposed to be able to take it down, pirouette and play a sixty yard pass to feet. I was a distance from it, but I didn't think he had the chance to deal with it before the bounce, but would need to see it again.

Forgot to mention, Karlsson's bit of skill to pass to Nisbet was world class. He played well when he came on, should be a sub more often.

It's all these foreigner throw-ins these days, where they bend forward and throw it downwards to the player's feet. Perfectly legal, but it looks suspicious. Their throw leading up to the disallowed goal was ridiculous.
