Jute Posted Friday at 06:59 Report Posted Friday at 06:59 Back to league duty on Sunday and for confidence need to be putting away one of promoted teams comfortably. Not expecting any arrivals by Sunday but looking like Morris could be away. Hopefully no injuries from Thursday but might see squad rotation to rest players. No idea how we will line up but Devlin has to start at right back. He is a better defender than Jensen. Really need to win to get league campaign on track. Falkirk have not looked great in games I have seen so surely we can win at home. Quote

He is a better defender than Jensen Although Jensen does have the advantage of not having played the full ninety! Devlin ran himself into the ground last night. Jensen has actually looked less fit than last season, and he's a lesser player for it. It's a difficult role and I think they'll just have to divvy it up this season. If we'd had an established left back, I'd like to have seen Lobban get an opportunity on Sunday. We should be able to carry a young player through games, especially at fullback, so either him or Frame should be getting minutes soon. Boyd too further up the park, but obviously not all at the same time. Quote
Elgindon Posted Friday at 17:10 Report Posted Friday at 17:10 Boyd looking like he's on his way out (Villa - according to gossip elswhere). Ach well, Euro/Scandi reds it is In - Y Pre/post - Driving Prediction - Anythings possible.... 4 - 2. Keskinen,Sokler x3 Quote
Panda Posted Sunday at 12:50 Report Posted Sunday at 12:50 Looks like Sokler going out on loan rumours could be true. Odd to start him on Thursday then ship him out a few days later (unless he requested it of course). On the other hand, Lazetic in the squad earlier than expected. Quote
Kowalski Posted Sunday at 13:03 Report Posted Sunday at 13:03 Yengi aside that’s a decent positive line up. Quote
wee toon red Posted Sunday at 13:18 Report Posted Sunday at 13:18 Hope the midfield three runs riot as, on paper, it looks like the right balance for a game we should be looking to win. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 13:58 Report Posted Sunday at 13:58 Polvara at 10!!!! Dare I say his best position??? Quote
redordead Posted Sunday at 14:22 Report Posted Sunday at 14:22 Watching on red TV. Signal is brutal. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 14:29 Report Posted Sunday at 14:29 Blah so far, better team but no goals. Need more from yengi and polvara in particular. Quote
wee toon red Posted Sunday at 14:32 Report Posted Sunday at 14:32 Any decent websites to visit while the game is on? Quote
redordead Posted Sunday at 14:47 Report Posted Sunday at 14:47 That's not going to help. No need for it. Hopefully it doesn't cost us Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 14:47 Report Posted Sunday at 14:47 This ref is a clown. Spoiling the game. 1 Quote
Kowalski Posted Sunday at 14:52 Report Posted Sunday at 14:52 Surely that wasn’t a red, he was trying to boot the ball back to Mitov. Was right in front of me, no malice at all. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 14:55 Report Posted Sunday at 14:55 I don’t see it as a red at all, going in hard to win the ball and has to hit the ball 30 plus yards which requires a follow through. Not even a foul if you ask me. 1 Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 14:58 Report Posted Sunday at 14:58 He’s on the bench so fit enough, let’s see lazetic, yengi had chances but doesn’t look a footballer. Shinnie at left back too as he’ll get forward. Prob polvara off, didnt take the opportunity. 1 Quote

OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 15:03 Report Posted Sunday at 15:03 Or molloy at left back and polvara up top!?!?!? Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 15:05 Report Posted Sunday at 15:05 Cartwright there is a worse foul than devlin ffs. Quote
OxfordDon Posted Sunday at 15:06 Report Posted Sunday at 15:06 21st August: Serdar Gözübüyük - "I'm the worst referee Aberdeen fans will see this season, and I shall demonstrate with this red card" 28th August: Espen Eskås - "nonsense, I'm the worst. Have a dodgy penalty AND a red card." 31st August: Ross Hardie - "hold my whistle..." Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 15:12 Report Posted Sunday at 15:12 Game is a mess, we’re ragged and ref is awful. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 15:25 Report Posted Sunday at 15:25 Lazetic certainly looks way more athletic and quicker than yengi. Quote
redordead Posted Sunday at 15:31 Report Posted Sunday at 15:31 Watching the replay with modern standards the ref really didn't have a choice. Lazetic looks tidy so far. Was hoping to see kjartanson get some minutes today Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 15:32 Report Posted Sunday at 15:32 Goal falkirk, it was coming although I though we’d weathered their storm. Quote
redordead Posted Sunday at 15:35 Report Posted Sunday at 15:35 (edited) That goal comes from aochice and Clarkson being tippy tappy. Way too lightweight. Shinnie and those two in the middle. Is it any surprise we can't get our foot on the ball now? Edited Sunday at 15:36 by redordead Quote
