I'd be surprised if we take anything less than maximum points from those first 8 games

How good does a fixture list full of Saturday's look?! Unfortunately it'll all go to shit when tv and European games get involved and we'll have more shite like the Monday 8pm kick off we've been handed to kick off.

  • BigAl changed the title to Season 2024/25 Fixtures

There’ll be a few that get shifted but as an opening set of fixtures (Perth away on a Monday aside), it’s pretty damn good. Hopefully the team will be building confidence during this period before we play the bigger sides.

If I've worked it out correctly, we should (providing Kilmarnock make it as far as a play-off) play St Mirren, Kilmarnock and Hearts on Sundays after they've had a midweek European fixture.

There is the caveat that we ourselves will be in transition under a new manager so we'll likely be rocky too, but apart from the remarkable decision to send us to Kilmarnock on Boxing Day, the fixtures work out well for us.

The aim should be to be at least third by December.

Had planned to head to this. Won’t be now.

Confirmation that St Mirren game moved to Sunday.

Still possibility Killie game could be moved if they get passed Tromso.

Oh joy another game not at 3pm on a Saturday.

  • 2 weeks later...

More games moved for Europe.

At least only one home game being moved.

And more games moved.

And even more.

The Dundee game being moved for no good reason is a right pain in the arse.

Home game against the arabs now moved to 530 on sat, 26th October. Reasonable time for me and reekie 👍

Makes travelling back a cunt for me as only one train.

Aye, I assume @Jute usually requires one entire train for himself and another for his entourage.

Clearly. Now I will have to travel with the peasants.

Joking aside it does make travelling back crowded and expensive if everyone is restricted to one train.

Despite us not making the final, Rangers' win over Motherwell means we'll have no game that weekend as our trip to Ibrox on 15 December will now need to be rescheduled to a midweek game.

Rescheduled to Wednesday 15 January, live on sky.

The game before it on the Sunday at home to Hearts is also live on sky, as is the trip up Fir Park on 5 January.

So including the 29 December game with Dundee United (premier sports), four out of five games will be live on the TV, and our next game after Ibrox is a Scottish Cup match so every chance we get a TV game too.

Handy time to be on the TV considering you'll all be skint after the Donstalk secret Santa and the weather will be cold.

Rangers game moved to 13th April 12pm kick off giving me a whole 13 minutes to get from station to ground.

On this occasion, it's the Huns that are the ones being harshly treated. Is there even a bus from Peterhead that gets you there for 12?

Point of order Rico

Please do not refer to the esteemed member, Jute, as a Hun

Thought they all lived in Portlethen.

ETA  - The boss has advised I am paying for a hotel in Aberdeen on the Saturday night so early train no longer an issue for this one.

Hibs home

St Mirren away

Rangers away (lunchtime kick-off)

Celtic home (midweek)

Dundee United away (lunchtime)

Not good really. Back-to-back Old Firm games then away to Dundee United.

Have to beat Hibs at home and win at St Mirren.
