Think it will be a very hard game, this lot look very decent going forward, being a goal down means we have to go for it, id be more nervous playing for a draw, although its rather unusual for me to be quite confident going into any game which is worrying in its self

Wasn’t sure of him after the first two games.

The fact he commands his area and actually comes off his line for the ball has won me over. No complaints about last night, just two very good goals i thought, they happen.

although his "much vaunted" kicking is not really a great deal better than some of his much maligned predecessors 

don’t know what to expect from the Joot TBH, in years gone by they’ve had some very decent players, this season coming i don’t think i know any of them, maybe that’s just down to my ignorance of other teams of course 

last year we ran ourselves into the ground against that Spanish mob a couple of days before, i don’t think we were actually that bad against Utd, just that they scored, we couldn’t and by the end the boys were dead on their feet.

IMO the game the other night was a lot slower paced than last year’s equivalent, we should be well ahead in actual match fitness and hopefully the flight hasn’t taken a lot out of them.

I enjoyed everything south of Naples, that and Pompeii.

sure i was reading something (might have been a mafia novel rather than news though) about the whole area being full of toxic waste, the mafia were making a fortune off disposal contracts, but instead of disposing of it properly, they were just dumping it all over the region

I do occasionally worry about the religious nutters with a death wish...these individuals would take us all with them if they had the power but this is no argument for replenishing our stockpile.

I found that movie completely depressing. I know war movies are not the funniest of movies but by fuck that was hard going.

A week climbing and Hiking near Snowdon next friday, Two weeks walking from Oban to Stoney in May (via Aviemore and Ballater). Then going to Croatia in Sep, went to Dubrovnik last year, this year its some place an hour sooth of Split

I think Low and Smith will step up quite nicely with regards to midfield so I don't think we need to look at midfield.  It's a shame about goodwillie as he's clearly talented but you cant see where to put him in the team at the moment. Goalkeeper is clearly the must have signing, CH second on the list.

I really like Low, but its starting to look ominous on the contract situation,  hopefully he gets another year.

Rooney for me (just edged it by being hard as fuck and pouring a bottle of water over his heid in all weathers) followed by Hayes,  then Considine, Logan and McGinn = 3rd

defo a Keeper, saying that, maybe Rodgers is already the answer, I dont think ive ever seen him play so cant say yay or nae.

Wouldn't mind a 10 year younger Barry Robson, Andrew Shinnie was mentioned to me at the Caley game, but last I saw he was back in favour at Birmingham,  so no chance of that happening,  unless hes pulled the "homesick" card

And swap Goodwillie for a striker in a similar mould, but with better shooting/finishing ability than a club footed quine.

said to my mates the other week that we need a barry Robson of 10 years ago in the midfield, noticeable yesterday that there wasnt the huge gaps in midfield that there has been in other recent games, i usually dread him coming on and wasnt overly chuffed to see him start but he was my MOTM.

Enjoyed it tonight, decent game i thought, good to see Robson constantly talking and organising

They're going to be well up for it.  We need to get back on track.  Really need to see a bit more fight and tenacity from the team and I'm hoping being benched at the weekend gives Pawlett and McGinn the motivation to put in big performances.

would be happy with that line up, nae worried (well actually i always am) about fas in goal, they’re baith as capable as each other at pulling off a nightmare moment or three.
