  1. I blame the SNP for spending on our local infrastructure.

Bastards they are, taking all that money, and then spreading it back around the country. They'll be dualling the A96 next. Bet it goes a couple of miles away from Bennachie as well, bastards.
  2. Most on here talk like losing McInnes would be some sort of disaster. Like he’s a great manager.

On the match thread, the imbecile said that beating Hamilton would have been “awesome”.

Are most thinking that McInnes is great basing their assessment on previously incompetent managers appointed by Milne?

    Or am I missing something?

If winning at Hamilton and coming second in the SPFL is the height of ambition, then Milne has won.

I understand where you're coming from, but.....

Is he our best manager since 1986?

Has he won us our only trophy in 22 years?

Has he got us qualifying for europe every year?

Has he got us deep into cups every year?

Have we had even a single humiliation in cups against lower league dross?

Have we made some great signings and loans the likes of which we haven't seen in 20 years?

  3. The odds are drifting on McInnes and shortening on Murty. McInnes still favourite but not as nailed on as the bookies previously thought.

In all honesty people get wrapped up in bookies odds. When it comes to manager's markets it's all guesswork the same as we do here, it means nothing, and the amount of money they take on these markets is miniscule.

  4. Some fresh lines from McInnes to read between.  Also, confirmed there has been no contact from Sevco to club or manager.

Doesn't exactly sound like a man desperate to move on, to me.

It absolutely sounds like he wouldnt consider it and looks on them as not much better shape than Sunderland.

However I'd be amazed if they haven't been in contact and were told what the buy out fee was and can't afford it. Chris McKLaughlin was adamant at the weekend that they would ask permission on Monday, now I know, "reporters", but he's not exactly flavour of the month at Greyskull, so I'd be surprised if that wasn't going to be their next move.

I think as the week goes on we may indeed have dodged another bullet here.

  5. Not if the hun overtake us or we somehow dont get into europe next year.

    It could happen.

But anyone who feels europa and champs league isnt quintessential to our success is not wanting the best for the dons.

We all want us to get the best out of our team right?

For me thats more than the SPFL.apparently for some its not.

Its like Murray winning the Cincinnati major but never getting to wimbledon.

What's the point of not trying for the ultimate prize?

The fans want it..the manager and players want it. Im sure of that.

We just need to upgrade and spend a little.

Jesus fuck. It's impossible to win in Europe now ffs. You've just said we can't even win domestically, which isn't totally true, but for sure we're never winning the UEFA cup when it gets filled with champions league rejects halfway through. Bonkers min.

  6.

We MUST spend money to make sure we get to the Europe play offs.if we don't as we haven't then what's the point of all this shit?

we could win the league...great..we could win cups..great but Europe is where we need to be performing regularly.

    Utter skitters.

It's about winning things, not getting into a group stage in europe to get horsed by teams getting a doggies chance after falling out of the champions league.  I couldn't give one fuck about europe  if we won a trophy every other year or so

  7. I'm not denying Celtic have vastly superior players to us, of course they should do. But what I didn't like was the manager using that as a reason as to why we lost. We lost because he himself does not believe we can beat them. Other teams with less of a budget than ours manage to give them a game or At least try. Considine has not played in a long time, a time in which we've started to play better. That defence needed to remain the same in my opinion. He needed to show faith. Consi wasnt responsible for all the goals, Logan was for one of them, but I think we need to accept that changing personnel at the back was the wrong move, hes done it enough times now to know it doesn't work. I can perfectly see the logic in moving Shinnie to mid but I think we needed a stronger Base and take them on the counter. They're always going to have plenty of the ball but we needed composure at the back. A common understanding.

Only one player in midfield needed to be replaced, with another possible addition (if you drop Rooney or may). We may have lost more, but at least we'd have tried something he hasn't tried against them for a long time. Faith. It's clear we need to add to the middle of the park, I really hope that DM finally realises this.

Don't think I've really articulated what want to say, just gutted. Fucking rain over here gave me a reason to watch it. On to the next one I guess.

    EXACTLY.
  8. Gridlock in the Lang Stracht at 14.30 on a Saturday afternoon listening to the teams being announced on the radio is not my idea of fun.

I just don't get this repeated complaint. Do some fans really not appreciate how fucking awful Pittodrie is to drive to, and even moreso away from?
  9. A crammed busload, but not shortly because it's stuck in traffic and a'bodys dying for a pish.

Aye, the match ticket should include the cost of transport but it won't.

Nae need though now that I've decided that the new stadium is being built on the links.

The council quite rightly will never allow the demolition of their top earning leisure facility.

If a golf course goes it'll be Craibstone, the Marshall family are not golfers, allegedly they only built it to progress towards building housing which is looking less and less likely, an exit plan of selling so the stadium can be on the bypass seems like an end game that could fly.

  10. Falling behind here lads.

Abmad's been having a fairly entertaining slagging match about this for days.

Including what seemed like an all night argument on the cost of bus fares from the toon to Westhill.

Just hang about for a bit, there'll be a busload along shortly
