  1. yup thats just the way of it i'm afraid. the thing that pisses me off is that the club themselves do next to nothing to get the fans back. instead they let that tube Charlie Allan write an article slagging off AFC.
  2. where did i dress up the fact that i went to madrid for a jolly??? your not making any sense mate. i'm talking about alot of fans. the simple fact is aberdeens crowds have dropped for alot of reasons. i.e. i know of a few aberdeen fans out there who dont go to any games anymore because they would rather watch whichever EPL game is on live at saturday lunchtime and stay in the pub afterwards. this is just 1 reason.
  3. no i cant. as i said people will and can chose when they want to go to football match and if its achoice between a big game or a smaller match then they will obviously go to the bigger game. not everyone's life revolves around football or afc
  4. agreed. i'm sure he wont exactly be on peanuts either. total waste of wage
  5. something tells me the same. some farmer, a dog or a scurry will be unhappy about it.
  6. why would it be a fair point??? people have a right to chose when they want to go. no?
  7. i'll be honest i didnt go because i couldnt be arsed sitting in the cold watching aberdeen play as recently they havent been that good to watch. call me a disgrace or a prt timer if you like i couldnt give a shit. i will go watch the dons as and when i please.
  8. games on a sunday its freezing its on TV alot of fans just got back the day before. when will AFC realise that this utter clown does more harm than good.
  9. with regards to the wquotes i've highlighted CHARLIE ALLAN fuck off you fat bastard. what a terrible peice of journalism
  10. 24 hours from now i will be sitting in paris CDG 3 and a half hours of work to go. its killing me
  11. Eric Black for me but with the premiership the way it is money wise. theres not a chance in hell of gettin him.
  12. thats me countdown over. my journey begins today
  13. 1 more sleep for me. not alot of work being done by me today
  14. 4 more sleeps then my journey there begins P.S where does everyone get those other smilies?
  15. I spoke to Duncan Shearer not long after he was appointed assistant manager and the Dons had just come back from Portugal in the winter break. Spoke to him about the strikers at the club (Mackie being one of them of course), and his exact words were: "If you think they're bad on Saturday's, you should see them in training. I was top scorer for the training matches in Portugal. That's not me boasting, it's a slight on them. Their problem is that they don't want to listen, they think they know it all, that they're Billy big time and their careers will go nowhere." (Leigh) Hindsight proves he's right... I'll get ma coat. i heard the saem thing. Shearer didnt rate mackie at all.
  16. i'm really not confident about saturday. i dont think he will play Aluko or JDV (bad move) and i think Byrne will start at Left back after fosters joke performance at Tynecastle.
  17. I'm going to say something many will most definitely not agree with here. Before i do, let me say my piece and understand this is just my opinion, and everyone's entitled to one. Right, here goes... I thought Brewster was largely pish for us. I don't think he was anything like as fit as he needed to be, he was too old to be a viable long term option, only had about 4 decent games for us in all his time here and set Miller's career with us back to the extent that he's only rediscovering some kind of form 2 months after he left. One good thing Brewster was though was a communicator. He would talk players through games in a way that nobody on the pitch currently does. I'll give him that. Now, i'm coming across as some kind of massive bummer of Lee Miller right now - and in general today, come to think of it. I'm not, i think he's really rather limited in what he can do, but i think he does it quite well. Anyway, he's reputedly one of our highest paid players. Why disrupt his progress by bringing in the man who all but sacked him from his last club and branded him unprofessional and a bad influence as he did so? There, i've said it. I've dug out my flak jacket in anticipation... Jimmy bigged brewster up too much IMO. scored a few goals but in most games he played he was mince. i very much agree with your comment about bringing in Brewster in the first place after what happened between him and Miller
  18. 1. Darren Mackie is out of the next 2 games. ashame his pace may have helped over in spain 2. We are being linked with Steven Thompson and Alan Gow i would take both these guys 3. Jimmy is to offer a new contract to his "Mr Reliable" Richie Byrne total disgrace to offer this idiot a new deal discuss
  19. Sandy Clark is supposed to be the striker coach.
  20. we've actually been on more than i expected. we have another 2 games by the end of the year on TV. Rangers and Hibs at home
  21. he couldnt do any worse than our strike force this year. we havent had anyone worth boasting about since stavrum. there seems to be some sort of infection that prevents any new strikers from scoring a decent amount of goals at pittodrie. Miller - been doing better but not consitent enough Mackie - Headles chicken but sometimes pops up with a scoring run Lovell - would love to see him hit the form he had at dundee but IMO JC doesnt like him and he doesnt look like he wants to be here half the time. Thomson - scored a few for United and would be worth a punt if he can stay away from the treatment table
