We may as well just keep this thread open since our next game is now Rangers.
Have we ever started and ended a season with the exact same fixture (Celtic away)?
79-80 season we played Partick away first game and last of the league season. The only other games that we played the same team first and last games of the season were 95-96 against Falkirk and 20-21 against the huns. But we played both games home and away.

I got up this morning and checked the score. I have to say that the scoreline did not surprise me. Barry Robson has brought steeliness to the team and even though we played shite first half we never looked like a team that would be overalled like we have in the past. Hearing the fans singing Standfree with it swirling around the ground gave me goosebumps. Well done to the support, they were well up for it.

I've never watched any of James Cameron's movies other than T1 and Rambo 2. I can't stand the man. And I've not seen any of the Harry Potter movies.

If we manage to pull off third place or even cement fourth given such a poor run after World Cup break I think the likes of Mattie Pollock, Leighton Clarkson, Duk, will be remembered fondly in years to come where this one season is concerned especially our No.18 loan man.
Not really sure what went wrong in those six losses and one draw in eight games after World Cup but even if that draw was a win and two of the losses were wins (2-1 up on Rangers deep into injury time and took lead in Paisley) the battle to be best of the rest would probably be over with an extra seven points.
Hindsight is a great thing but makes you wonder about the mentality of a footballer given how this squad gave up on Jim Goodwin although even if we'd got the predicted haul I talked about above there is no guarantee we'd have seven wins in eight fixtures since Barry Robson took over with Jim in charge.

I know it's only been 9 games that Barry Robson has been in charge but he has a win rate of 77%. Nine goals against us and fifteen for us. And when you think that the 3-1 St Mirren game was the first game after the Goodwin fuckknuckle horror games. I'm trying not to get too far ahead of myself, though...

Thoughts on Nick Montgomery as a potential candidate ?
I like the look of him. He's done well with a team that was in big trouble a few years ago. I think he's just signed a new contract with the Central Coast that keeps him there until 2025.

Cracking photos, mate.

Anyone climbed Slioch? It's a cracking looking climb and one that I regret not getting up.

I always look forward to seeing photos of your jaunts.

Sound very promising. "“From a football point of view, I haven’t played as much as I would have hoped for whatever reason.
“I haven’t had a run of games. I have probably played no more than two in a row since the start of last January.
“I just want to enjoy my football again and be nearer my family which will be very good for me."

I don't think Shinnie was all that pleased at leaving Derby and going to Wigan.
-
What's the go with the Shinnie loan? Is he here only until the end of the season or is It option to sign?

Ken Block. American rally driver. Only 55. All I really know about him was he liked to drive fast things. Best thing I did see of his was where he drove around central London.
-
It says a lot about the state of the club at the moment when talking about where to have a night oot in Elgin is more exciting than the game.

When Sydney United 58 played in the Australia Cup final this year, while the Welcome to Australia ceremony was getting done there was singing of the Za dom spremni from some of the Sydney United 58 fans. The Za dom spremni is pretty much the "Sieg Heil!" of the far right Croatian organization Ustase.
Football Australia were quick in placing sanctions on SU58 but this shite has been going on for years in Australian football.

For some reason my wife gets notifications on here phone with the Aberdeen scores. When we got beat by Celtic she said to me that we must have played well as they only scored one goal... When she got the Hun game score she said to me it was good that we scored a few goals... Anyway, the divorce papers should be through soon.

Can't believe I missed the passing of Kirstie Alley
Sure as hell wouldn't have missed her thirty years ago given half the chance
They have been showing re-runs Cheers on the tv here. It's really cringey when you see how sexist It can come over. Sam would be in prison now with the way he acts.
