It's our 4th game of the pre season. We're not match fit. The season isn't over yet. Mark McGhee is not the messiah and can't make an unfit team win.

TF - I was under the impression that Mair wasn't about the money or "affording" him, just that he wanted to get a contract sorted and this wasn't forthcoming when JC was sacked and the protracted appointment of MM. St Mirren offered him a contract and he went.

Who would say that the two Plymouth boys were worth paying £8.5k a week in wages for? We don't have the money to compete, it's just the way it is. If good players don't want to come here then there's not much the board can do while staying in a reasonably good financial position.
