If we had cashed in, we could have been lining up last night against a CB pairing of Diamond & Mulgrew... We would score against them.

So we do! Sunday 20th March at 12:45. Dunno how the Beeb missed that one:

Cannae see the Rangers game in there at all. Okay, enough time for Blackman, Smith and Milsom to get used to the way we play, and enough time for Shauney O'Luko to recover. And it's Rangers at Pittodrie ... can never predict that result
Is that fixture going to be moved as its the same day as the league cup final?
-
Thought we did ok considering we only had 10 men. Celtic were the better team, but 3-0 was a harsh scoreline.
Hopefully Jack & McNamee aren't out for too long, looked a gashed leg & grion strain to me.
-
Thought he looked pretty good tonight when he came on. Probably still short of match fitness aswell.
-
Legally, if his contract ran until the end of the season he would be entitled to compensation.
He should be paying us back for all the shit performances. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
-
Diouf is a cunt. He'll fit right in there.
-
Seems smith can play in midfield aswell?
Aberdeen have completed the signing of Steven Smith from Norwich City on loan until the end of the season. The former Rangers player, who can play at left back or in midfield, is the fifth new arrival at Pittodrie since Craig Brown's appointment, joining David McNamee, Rob Milsom, Nick Blackman and Myles Anderson. -
1728: Andy Carroll is now on his way to Liverpool's Melwood training ground for a medical.
1726: BREAKING NEWS: LIVERPOOL ANNOUNCE THEY HAVE AGREED A FEE FOR NEWCASTLE STRIKER ANDY CARROLL
It would seem he's gone.... Probably depends on Torres going to London though.
Crazy cash though. No danger is Carroll worth that.
Newcaslte must be gambling on not getting relegated - that leaves Best, Ameobi & Ranger as there strike force!

Currently getting through Sons of Anarchy, almost at the end of season one - heard mixed reviews, but seems ok so far.
Quite looking forward to seeing Boardwalk Empire on Sky Atlantic when it starts - trailers look good.

Great result & good prep for saturday.
The only issue that I see with the league table is that dundee utd & the saints have played less games than us. We probably need them to lose those matches if we have any chance of the top six. Still, given the shambles that we were in at the start of december/1st half of season, its great that we've opens up such a gap in a short space of time.

Debating if I'm going to go or not...
Think this game is the acid test of the players and brown/knox after getting beat on saturday. I think we'll bounce back with a win!
-
Did anyone else think that Michael Hart was utter gash last night for the hibbies?
-
I took that to mean more, Hughes needs games to get match fit - something that Norwich/lambert are not prepared to do/give him while chasing promotion?

Reports of harper getting chinned on the pitch after the final whisle I dirty sunderland...
-
Maguire was one of the best players on the park this afternoon. Evidently he doesn't give a shite...
-
Think he was unlucky not to get man of the match today...
-
That's what Miller says but part of that negotiation appears to have been lending him to Kilmarnock. I wouldn't take that as a strong desire to keep me if I was in his position.
The last manager was a fucking buffoon and no-one enjoyed that sorry period in the clubs history.
Sum's it up really... I do think that Maguire needs to screw his head on a bit tighter, but pretty much everything in the past 18 months connected with AFC has been a disaster, including the career progression of Maguire.

Bad times.. based on last night, i could see real winning the 2nd leg aswell.
-
El Derbi Madrileño starting in a few minutes on Sky.
Set to be a cracker!
3-1 FT. Good game, but the ref was pretty biased to Real.. Quite funny watching their players go mental after Althetico didnt give the ball back after Ramos took out Aguero and no foul was given..

Despite being above hibs, we are still more likely to go doon according to the bookies...........
You forget that hibs are actually Brazil in disguise.

New Year's resolution:
Never read a post by Stoney re Maguire......ever!
Fixed.

These puns are shite.
Indeed. They should be locked away.
Milsom - Long Term Contract
in Aberdeen Football Club
Posted
Pull the stops and get him signed.
I'd even go as far to say he could be our future captain.
