so if the scores tonight stay the same & we beat Copenhagen, we go through??

In my mind I would have said it was but facts don't lie.. so I'll go with OK so far.

The question that runs around in my mind is...

If we had managed to either (a) kept hold of anderson or (b) signed an experienced center back** would we have conceded the extra seven goals.. and would we have been further up the table because of it??

**In my opinion; Lee Mair aint quite up to scratch yet.

What is a must though is 6 points against killi and well before the rangers game on the 23rd.

 

Gonna be a busy couple days at work though and after a bit of a mental weekend, I'm not sure 4 days on the batter is really what my body needs at this precise moment....

Seems a bit of a shame, but if he isn't doing the business then there is no point in holding on to him.

I would have thought that his experience alone would have been very usefull in keeping the defence tight this season (more so with anderson leaving), however that hasn't been the case and as pointed out before he seriously lacks pace and seems to have lost his passing ability - in the end the wages dont justify the end product...... unfortunately this seems to be too often the case with AFC.

to be honest i find the afc-chat site sooo much better. no offense, Will donstalk be having a facelift within the near future?

As said previously in this thread it should have been a straight red!

 

He shouldn't even have still been on the pitch IMO due to his reaction to his 1st yellow. I've seen players off for much less.

 

 

Just passing on what I read.

 

Wasn't at the game and only saw a quick clip on the telly so can't really comment on the challenge, except to say it looked pretty reckless at first viewing.

Take it from me, he should have been off/carded long before the second half.  The challenge on Nicholson was the last in a series of reckless, persistent fouls.

Out of 6 weeks with as fractured collarbone according to BBC.

I was close to the fence and clearly saw at least two coke cartons being lobbed over form the hearts end.

The guy in the row in front of us also got hit on the forehead by something, didnt see was that was but it was enough to draw blood.
