  1. The Fight = meh. I really like my boxing but just wasn't taken by this film. Ward's family pissed me off, his girlfriend pissed me off, come to think of it most parts of this film pissed me off in some way. Saying all that I still think it's ok, IMO not worth all the hype. Bale does put in a good performance but Wahlberg's character is made out to be too squeaky clean, I didn't believe anything in the film.

  2. In/Oot: Oot

    Prematch: Bed

Match: Online unless I find someway to watch it live

    Postmatch: Lunch then drink

    Prediction: Worry, frustration, then happy

I'm sure it's on the BBC, do you have a TV?

    In/Oot: Oot

    Prematch: Work

Match: Will try and get off for a bit to watch it

    Postmatch: Work

    Prediction: 2-0 Aberdeen

  3. Still no names have been mentioned by anyone so I'm still holding out hope for a bigger name than the boy from Blackburn. If it turns out that piece is correct then I'll expect the lad to do a job for us, Brown hasn't done much wrong so I fully support every decision he makes and every player he signs.

  4. Finally got round to watching The Town last night, it was decent enough without having to really think while watching it.

Planning on seeing Neds some time this week, I'm sure it'll more than live up to the hype.

Was living Pulp Fiction the other night, only caught the last hour but it's just sheer brilliance.

A mate was telling me about a Serbian Film, anybody seen or heard of it? Sounds completely fucked up!

  5. Tried to play the first round of the year yesterday but had to give up after 5 holes cause my new sheen were rubbing, disaster. One monster drive but other than that it was complete garbage, must of 3 putted every green.

  6. Missed Shameless last night, gutted. Another one who only really started watching it last series although I did watch most of the first series. Will set them to record and watch them when I get home.

Anybody watch Underbelly? Got the boxset but not sure if I can be bothered with it as I've just started watching the Sopranos again from the first series.

  7. Got handed a copy at work last night and started it this morning.

Got mine handed to me at work also, got until April to get it read before the guy who owns it retires. Anyway he said it was a good read, wasn't much mention of his business ventures outside of football though.

  8. Trying to read An Utterly Impartial History of Britain by John O'Farrell but it's hard work getting the authors left wing viewpoint.

Once finished I will either finish Stalingrad or finally read The Don, never did get round to it before.

  9. Clangers played his best football when Leighton was coaching him. Give him until the end of the season and see where we are at, if there is no improvement then we should start looking for a keeper. I would prefer other areas of the team were improved this month.

  10. It all started at Killie, he played well there and for me he has mostly carried that on when he returned. McGhee gave him a bit of a run in the team which helped and I'm confident Brown will continue to improve bebo. As for being the next Booth or Jess, I don't think so but that doesn't mean he can't be a top player in this current Aberdeen team.

Is his contract up at the end of the season? If so I'd rather he stayed then left.

  11. I don't have too many complaints about McGhee's dealings in the transfer market, he brought in some dross but he also brought in some good players. It was his tactics and unhappiness of the squad I had issue with.

I'd be surprised if a couple of players didn't leave the club in Jan although I doubt we'll be paying much money to any player who comes in this month.

  12. What a horrible team Man City are, had high hopes for a good game of football last night but instead I just wanted to tear my eyes out. The red card for Zabaleta at the end was a disgrace, surely it will be overturned. Sagna deserved his, you could see his team mates asking him what he was thinking.

Hodgson could be away after that, Ewood is a tough place to go so depends how his bosses see it I suppose.

Chelsea are going nowhere but down and I love seeing it, about time.
