McGhee effectively said the club was rotten to the core. Just in many, many more words.
-
I guess due diligence went out the window.

My initial reaction was 5 but I do quite like numbers 2 and 6 as well. Number 1 looks like Mounthooly roundabout.
The problem with putting grass down is that it will be waterlogged and therefore uninhabitable for 8 months of the year and covered in dogshite and glass for the rest.
The artists impressions miss out the undead that will inhabit these places in evenings.

It was a pish start to the list. The other end was far better.

I assume "More than the new stadium costs" is one of the options.

Winners
Anyone who pays attention to Scotch football will know Aberdeen are not in the best shape at the moment. They're second bottom, and have only won one league game this season.
And so The Scotsman asked ex-manager Jimmy Calderwood to offer his opinion on why things have gone tits up.
He said: "A lot of experienced players, and winners, have left the club. Zander Diamond left, Derek Young knew what Aberdeen was about, Mark Kerr, Gary McDonald, good pros who know what's needed to win a football game."
Aside from the fact that those "winners" are now playing for Oldham, Grindavik, Astereas Tripolis and Morecambe respectively, in the two seasons when the "good pros who know what's needed to win a football game" were at Aberdeen, the team won 24 league games out of 76, and were put out of the Scottish Cup by Dunfermline and Raith Rovers.
Jimmy Calderwood is currently not working.

"Taking the cans" is easily a rival to our current 5 year strategy.

They make it sound like he's doing the club a favour.
It also strangely looks at the falling crowds as the cause of the current cash issue rather than an effect of years of poor leadership. Great propeganda.
He should pay off his debt and walk.

I'd be tempted to give the old radge the benefit of the doubt. He probably lost a sleeve of ProVs in the semi rough round there.
If you don't have an IPhone; you're fae Ayrshire.

I suppose it's a mixed view.

Excellent.
Anyone played Santana Golf, Mijas or La Cala GC in Southern Spain? Heading there next week for a few days, playing all 3, any local knowledge would be gratefully received.
Ta.
I've played both Mijas and La Cala a few times, they are decent holiday golf resorts. Nothing special.
Regardless which of the 3 La Cala courses you play, take a buggy. One of the courses (Asia? I think) is almost walkable, the other two are not. Long distances between greens and the next tees and fucking massive hills. It's a shame as I like to walk because it's a lovely part of the world.
Lots of elevated greens/tees at La Cala and you don't need to hit it big to play the whites.
Mijas has 2 courses, the newer one is actually a reasonable challenge depending on how straight you are off the tee. I prefer Mijas to La Cala personally.
Enjoy, I'm down there for 3 weeks in July and will probably play Parador and Finca Cortesin.

I agree that those antics are completely out of order but it's nothing new unfortunately.
Agreed and having managed that shower of shite Porto, Mourhino can hardly take the high ground.

I don't really get why everyone's getting their punts in a twist about Barca players surrounding the ref? It happens all the time in football these days. Chelsea (especially Jose Mourinho's Chelsea) are/were guilty of it too. I don't like to see it either but they'd have to sin worse than that before I lose respect for such a good team.
I thought Pepe's challenge was dangerous whether Alves made the most of it or not. Whether it warranted a red card or not I'm not sure. One thing's for sure. If Carragher or Gerrard got sent off for that challenge there'd not be one single complaint from anyone excluding Liverpool fans.
But it's not just surrounding the ref, waving imaginary cards added to their diving and face clutching just marks them down as wankers. The worst thing is that it seems systematic to me, a game plan.
They will cheat to win. Always.

I gave up many months ago.
-
A monumental bottle crash from McIlroy but his putting has always been a bit suspect under pressure.
-
And if AFC had money he'd be a plumber.
-
A midfield of the above "maestro", Neale Berry, Dave McCreery and John Millar just screams out "Total Football" doesn't it?
Doesn't it...?
oh.
Neale Berry.

Gary Mackay. LEGEND1111

Liz Taylor and Fred Titmus. Goners.

See ya cunt.
Perfectly put.

Mark McGhee had them in a mountain stream, give the guy a break.

I was at the home leg, my first ever Aberdeen game.
It wasn't raining.

I use the Titleist 909D2 with Voodoo shaft last year. It's best driver I've ever played and I wont be changing any time soon.
Sunday Herald: Mark McGhee on his Aberdeen experience

I'd have more respect for him if he'd stuck to his guns because there is clearly a grain of truth in what he said.
