New Order a dance act? Hmm.
I prefer my dance music served up by a DJ anyway.
-
Question is does the act of standing generate atmosphere or is it exciting football that energizes people to get them standing.
Being almost 40 fuck standing about for two hours watching any old crap.
-
Paragraphs are underrated.

It took me a minute but I got there in the end.

Rather too close to the mark to be comfortable.
-
He will be filling the right back position
Ah well, he's shite then.
-
I'm happy, he's potentially the best centre half in the country.
-
Never a pen.

It's good, much in the vein of Fatherland in terms that it gets you thinking "what if".
Not his best by a long shot though, I wish he'd stop getting side tracked with topical stuff like Ghost Writer and the Fear Index and focus on his Ciccero story.

Agree re definition, I probably should have written the paradox between a strong mentality to reach the top and self doubt displayed by some of them . But these things are probably part of the same animal.
With regards to money, I guess it really can't buy you love. Unless you're fatjim. Although I really think there must be a comfort from absolute independent wealth rather than matrial posessions.

Interesting that I almost skipped watching a recording due to the sycophants reaction to his show on Twitter.
I found it rather self indulgent but of course they are people at the end of the day. The interesting paradox was reaching relative sporting excellence with such a fraglie mentality. I guess that depends on your definition of sporting excellence though.

Welcome back Bobby.
Amongst others I've read The Fear Index by Robert Harris and I've finally got round to reading The Red Riding Books by David Peace after seeing the TV drama.
For some lighter material I've read the Centurion books by Simon Scarrow. Good page turning historical fiction.
All excellent.

Of course the fucking warmongers are covered by the Geneva convention but if they sidestep it to conduct an illegal war then they'll hardly get taken to task over a pish.
-
The yanks should bomb them again for that condemnation.
-
You said that, not me! And I don't disagree with it being news worthy (especially now that I've seen it) but it's not more news worthy than the game itself.
Agree with your choice of card though. That is indeed a shocker and a hundred times worse than the one Kompany was sent off for.
Wasn't being a rocket, I just assumed you were critisizing the BBC for an anti Liverpool stance in your last post, my mistake.
The ref didn't even give a foul and that's where I have sympathy for Kompany, even though I thought his was a red card as well.
-
The tackle by Johnson was a red every day of the week and it's newsworthy based on what happened last week.
You can't be claiming anti Liverpool bias on the BBC.
-
Good point Luis.

115 page document and the full facts haven't been released? Utter rubbish.
That KK interview was yet another PR clusterfuck by the club. Like I said said in my first post, LFC have been an absolute disgrace.
-
So you are judging it without even bothering to read the transcript of what they both say happened. Cool
Here's a decent synopsis of it.

John Terry will be made an example of but the FA can't do anything that would prejudice any criminal proceedings he's facing. Guaranteed similar ban for him.
The apology is lamentable.
I can completely understand the review panel not believing Suarez. Kuyt and Comolli changed their fucking story in between the end of the game and the hearing to match Suarez's story. I don't know why anyone would believe a word they say and the panel correctly labelled them as the liars they are.
Subsequently it's pretty easy to reach the conclusion that he said the word more than once and in a racist manner. I kicked you because you are black isn't a cultural misunderstanding, that's racism and don't drag out any shite about PC brigade.
Liverpool are clearly being managed by someone with the intellect of a can of special brew. He looks like he's been on it as well.
-
Hopefully that will shut up the PC brigade.
What's funny to me is that when people of other religions come into our country we (Britain) bend over backwards not to offend them often by changing the way we've lived for ages and ages and we change our rules so that they can wear their fucking head scarves in their passport photos and driving licenses or so they can get days off for their religious holidays. The Government prides itself on this! Evidently the same cultural awareness is not exercised by the FA.
It's PC gone mad I tell ya!
-
Jesus. Damned if they do and damned if they don't!
They've made the correct decision not to appeal. Not sure what you guys want?
I'm sure Luis will learn from this.
Now it's up to the FA to ensure that all similar current and future cases are dealt with with an equally harsh punishment.
An apology would be a start.

Ok I'll take a gamble on her .... Yes
Away min. It's the joker from The Dark Knight. Have you no standards?
Oh it's CTS.
