He was awful but to be fair he was probably really nervous as well.
Ā
McArdle was the worst player on the park.
-
Can't mind of hearing about Niemi for years!
-
It will put of the majority i'd say, if it wasn't on TV we'd be looking at 3,000 or so, now? A lot of folk will not bother at all.
-
Can't blame him?!, ..... surely wanting our player(s) to potentially avoid getting injured plus avoid playing too many games applies to all teams?
Ā
Looking closer to home, the last thing we need right now is for Jack, or Maguire, to be injured in International games. Should Brown withdraw them from their respective squads? (Imo, no)
Ā
We, and other teams, may not have the CL to play in however neither do we the money* nor depth of squad* Smith has (despite them pleading poverty!)
Ā
(* = Lennon)
Ā
It does, but obviously Smith's looking short term where as Brown and AFC have ot look long term, iexpoure for the players at that level and possible transfer fees.

The guy in question is from Aberdeen, a regular at all Dons matches and goes to the games with a poster on hereĀ
Ā
Clearly I was unaware of who this specific example was.....hence why I referred to Kilmarnock etc.
Ā
There's a good bit in Fever Pitch about it, not Aberdeen obviously, but the author talks about not wanting to miss a game as he hates not understanding the fans apathy towards a player or why some are more favourably received. I think it probably rears its head more at big matches to be honest, there was a group of mongos in front of me at Hampden singing about Leon Mike....
-
Can't blame him, probably wanting to avoid the player getting injured plus avoid playing to many games when rangers have a heavy as fk schedule ahead.
-
More weegies in the support when we play these games, some don't go to many games outwith the central belt therefore are off the pace with how fans who go to more games rate players. Less of an issue when they are active on forums and the like but is an issue for those who base their knowledge on Aberdeen players on the ratings set by the Daily Record.
Ā
I've always found the above to be true, more so at Kilmarnock oddly, presumably because nobody else can be bothered going.
-
Its 10% that your entitled to, I think, in any case they will defo release both stands to Aberdeen, imo anyway. I'm not fussed, my good mate runs a SCĀ
-
Fucking dismal performance, not helped by our endless bad luck with injuries.
-
Cracking draw.
-
Watching that.....you reckon Miller would be as good today as he was back in the day, taking into consideration the change in the back pass rule?
-
Young for me, hate him but thought he had a really good game.
-
Aye, don't think the intention is a demo as such but about showing support for the team, I would say its probably the best time to do it - important cup tie?
-
My experience of Aberdeen players approaching the end of their contracts is they try even less than they already did, i.e Mulgrew.
Ā
I have seen Milsom three of his four games and have read lots of stuff on various forums about him being a stand out but can't mind him being that good in any of the games? That said in at least two of those three games i've been depressed as fk after the first 15 minutes so may explain it.
-
How's Paterson doing at Huntly?
-
Hamilton down and out now.
-
really?
Ā
concerned by what exactly?
Ā
he was one of our best players
Ā
My concern would be that he was still booting the ball out randomly? That he would tire quickly and so forth.
Ā
I thought he did OK as I say, it was difficult to say if anyone was the best player due to the manner of the game but I am expecting him to be a much better player than last night - or do you think its as good as it gets?
-
Aye, seen them showing him all kinds of diagrams as he was about to come on as a sub, think he just kind of had the look of a guy who was going to play left back regardless of what he was just toldĀ
-
Your predicting 4-1 but aren't fully confidentĀ
Ā
In/Oot: OOT
Pre match: Working
Match: BBC
Post match: Jack Danieled
Prediction: 1-1

Adult tickets are Ā£10 for the South & RDS, Ā£20 for the Main. I read somewhere you pay at the gate at all stands too! I think with the game being on the Beeb it will lower the attendance too!
Ā
I think we will get through - even more so now that they have sold Gibson to Crawley Town! We need to watch out for Kirk & Clarke up front though!!
Ā
Fairly sure I read Ā£15 for adults?
Ā
Crowd will be about 6,500 I think, if that.
-
Yeah, thought he was OK although would be concerned if he's still turning in those performances with more match sharpness.
-
Yeah, don't think he mentioned Cato to be honest, it was Eric Delemoux that he slated.
-
Even if that stat was in any way important, we've still got a home game against the Huns to go.
Ā
Fairly important to me to be honest!
-
Seem to mind he was a blinding player until he had a total mare against rangers, after that he was shite against everyone.
