  1. Aberdeen manager Mark McGhee:

"We seemed to start well enough. We lost the goal and suddenly it all went wrong. It ended up being a poor performance.

"To go from the heights of Wednesday night (when we beat Hearts 3-0) to the second half today, I can't explain it.

"It's one we've got to put behind us.

"We are a lot better than we were in the second half."

Is that it? .... what a crock!!

  2. Here u go ....

    Woods Gets The Wright Man

Posted on: Thu 28 Jan 2010

ABERDEEN striker Tommy Wright has joined the Mariners on an 18 month deal.

The 25 year old joined the Dons in August 2008 after moving north of the border from Darlington.

Tommy started his career at home-town club Leicester City, where he made twenty-four appearances, mainly as a substitute after his breakthrough during the 2002/03 Season.

He spent two loan spells with Brentford the following season, he also spent time on loan to Blackpool before signing for Barnsley. Darlington then swooped for the forward during the January transfer window completing a loan deal and shortly afterwards he completed a permanent move to the Quakers.

His passion made him a hero with the Aberdeen fans. Sadly his 2008/09 Season was ruined by injury.

He scored his first senior goal for Aberdeen in a Scottish Cup match against East Fife. Shortly after, in early March 2009, he netted his first Scottish Premier League goal, the equaliser in a 1-1 draw with St. Mirren.

At one time one of the most promising strikers in England, he represented England U-20s at the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship.

ama bad boy .... cannae f'n spell .....  :hammer:

  4. I want my kids to feel that feeling.

I want (wish) that my son grows up supporting the Dons with the same fervour and passion that I have. Unfortunately however the longer the malaise goes on at Todders, i think this will be unlikely.....

... now where is that Hot Cash Injection coming from?

  5. I think a lot of folk would have said that a fair few of those you listed should be punted whether tonight happened or not. Wasn't at the game so I can't add anything new to the "Wright's a big lump and we should get rid of him" thoughts.  Piss result tonight, but I'd hate to think a player's future would be decided on one game.

good answer and i agree, but we really need to get shot of the shite!

  6. Playing fast and lose with the knee-jerk reactions their. ;)

.... just getting a bit sick of the shite that is delivered week in and week out. AFC have more up's and downs than a pair of Whore's knickers, and every season that goes by makes it more and more difficult to swallow.

I don't think it's knee jerk as it's been brewing for quite some time now at Todders. Replacing "Blunderwood" only alleviated the pressure .....

  7. This inconsistency (standard of football and results achieved by AFC) can no longer be tolerated. I would suggest that MM and Co clear out all the dead wood and get some passion burning before they loose the faith of the Dons faithfull.

My suggestions to go asap are:

    Grassi

    Young

    Duff

    Ifil

    Wright

    Mackie

    Maguire

    ..... Stand Free!
