Like the look of the bench tonight though, think for the first time this season the subs are nicely split between defence, midfield and attack, options of youth and experience, even after losing Ojo the squad still looks strong.

Must admit I was slightly sceptical until yesterday, but there’s potentially a REALLY special player in Dean Campbell. That’s about the only positive I can take from the game.
Cosgrove needs to be dropped, and McLennan needs more than 90 seconds to prove his worth - Kennedy should have been subbed off for him or hedges with 20 minutes to go, not in injury time. No idea why we’re so reluctant to make changes when things aren’t working

Will be very interesting to see how their support respond if/when it becomes impossible for them to win anything this season. I don’t think they’ve got the cojones to win the league, and there’s every chance their European campaign will end before the month’s out. That means they’re a bad scottish cup result away from winning hee-haw again....and Gerrard’s position WILL be under scrutiny.

We don’t practice corners that’s for sure. Abysmal.

That was horrendous. Centre backs and goalkeeper pinging long hopeful balls to....nobody. Cosgrove (shite again for the 2nd game in a row) gets on the end of a couple - but flicks them on to....nobody. Squeezing 3 midfielders into the same position. Throw ins in their half getting thrown back into our own half then a pass back to lewis. Unable to properly trouble an opposition goalkeeper again, nothing worthwhile on target. Unable to defend a set piece despite having 4 huge players in our team. And Ash Taylor is absolutely wank, THE worst player we’ve had at Aberdeen since.....well since Ash Taylor was last here. Considine gets 7 out of 10 for putting in a decent shift, the rest of them range between 1 and 4. Football was shit. Atmosphere was shit. Traffic was shit.
Apart from that it was a good night.

Situation became similar to the McInnes scenario at pittodrie, style of play became predictable and boring so a change was necessary. Had a few fresh candidates who held the interim position, before settling on an exciting new prospect to fill the role on a more permanent basis. Far from the finished article, I’d say she still hasn’t reached her full potential, however we’ve had some exciting performances along the way.
