To be fair I never said he was a good player for us on the whole, I was impressed the Partick away game but generally he has been frustrating. My point was he isn't the right player for us  and encouraged a style of play we shouldn't  be playing

I dont think Zola is a bad player as such, I just think we play a bad style of football when he plays. Look at our last defeat, first half we played flowing, at times brilliant one touch football, Zola comes on as we look for an equaliser and Anderson is humping 60 yard balls up the park, it just doesn't suit us when we have the likes of Hayes, Pawlett, Jack, McGinn, Robson etc who play on the deck and open teams up.

I'd have loved to have seen Zola work for us but Vernon is definitely well ahead of him and probably Magennis too. Think getting him off the wage bill and replaced by someone who will fit into our style of play better would be a massive coup for the remainer of the season, looked like he has just going to take up a space on the bench and take a big pay packet home.

Disappointed Shankland didnt get on for the last 10, surely 3-0 is the time to give him some game time

Aye, pretty much when the ball came at Zola at a decent height he did nothing wrong, thought he was pretty much faultless.

Vernon plays as a striker, top scorer for two seasons. Gets played in midfield, scores a couple of goals and gets massive abuse. Comes on as striker for two subs appearances, four goals. Gets played in left midfield, doesn little and gets hooked at ht... Am I missing the point as to why this guy isnt playing up front and being told to just get in the box and score?? He seems fucking good at it when given a decent chance.

And sounds like Pawlett and Jack have been two of the better midfielders in the SPL this year, throw in Smith and Hayes from tonight and Robson Flood etc. Why the fuck are we missing these people out by punting it to Zola?? Makes no sense to me. Just incredibly frustrated, we could've and should've been dominant tonight, started off so well then the long balls and the fouls by Zola broke up the game and let them settle and get into it.

Where is the team that played on Wednesday?? And why is Vernon playing wide left??

Need McGinn on for Zola and Vernon through the middle, get the ball on the deck a bit more

Dunno if todays results puts extra pressure on us. Feels like we need to win this one now, dont want to be playing catch up. However still think we should be too strong for them. See us winning by a few goals. And surely Vernon will come in from the start

Absolute shocking red card, there are times players and genuinely outskilled and make a clumsy tackle when obviously trying to get the ball, it happens all over the park every game. Landfield did what every goalkeeper would do and try and save a goal, no malicious intent. The penalty is a huge punishment, a red card is just not necessary. Furthermore there was horrendous vicious tackles going in on Pawlett that could've done the boy serious damage. How can the genuine attempt to do your job a sending off and pretty much assault just a yellow. Fucking mind boggling. Apart from that, Hector impressed me, Flood, Jack, Reynolds all looked good. Theres positive signs there. Although lets hope we get by while Langfield is suspended, Weaver looked like an outfield player being drafter into goals, seemed to lack the knowledge and skill any decent goalkeeper should have

BT Sports looks to be decent and the free subsription for broadband customers looks to be attracting a lot of people, not often you get someone like that for free. Noticed it only worked downstairs, so I'm still screwed when Eastenders and fitba is on, the Misses isna likely to budge.

Anyway, the Celtic game. Its seems massive even at this stage of the season, really good chance to open up a gap on them. I think the crowd could play as massive role in this, I think everyone will be up for it. Hopefully Hayes, McGinn, Pawlett etc. go at them like yesterday/last week.

Feel as if McGinn, Zola and Vernon could all get into double figures in the league, with Hayes, Robson, Flood all chipping in. If we add goals to last years perfomances then should be a good season ahead (ahhh, love pre season optimism)

Says on SSN that we have appointed him as the clubs head of recruitment. Don't know anything about the guy, the interweb says we was the chief scout at Bristol City.

Lets hope he has some decent knowledge and can help improve the team

Was looking to take the Misses away for her birthday, nothing too crazy as we have a holiday booked soon. We enjoy playing Texas Hold'em and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to where we could go in Scotland/North England that had a good casino.

We don't get a chance to go alot coz of the kids so I don't really have much experience. Does anyone know any casinos that has a good tournament on a Fri/Sat night and decent levels of cash games?? Only played in Aberdeen which I find is a bit high staked which puts us off a bit as its a lot to stake for potentially 5 minutes entertainment and at Aspers in Newcastle which we really enjoyed and was more our scene.

Still think whoever had the idea (think it was someone on here a year or two ago) that everyone should ask for their first game with Celtic to be postponed, then they wont play until Oct/Nov time or something stupid. If they continually screw the league about to make even more money than every other club rather than play in the league they are meant to then we should screw them back. This happening each year royally fucks me off. Theres plenty time for fans to cause a stir and get there clubs to do it... For the sheer hilarity of it if anything else

It does kinda make sense and you see why he is saying it. However everyone mentioned is either midfielders or full backs, doesn't quite plug the gaping hole we need cover for in the center of defence that everyone had been screaming about for 31 days
