Surely one of the young lads has to be better than him.
Derek maybe, Darren no.

Pointless letter by the West Ham chairman in my opinion. So writing a letter makes all fans of an underperfoming club love the club again? Sadly, a lot of morons will say things like ' what a great attitude by our chairman, he really does care etc'... He only wrote a letter ffs! So he couldn't sleep after the bad result? Big deal!
Stewart Milne writing a letter like this will only lead to yet more criticism from our 'supporters'. Nobody really knows how much money Milne puts into AFC, and even if he did tell us, loads of our 'supporters' wouldn't believe him anyway. It's a real shame that some of our fans can only feel satisfied when they have something that they can have a right good moan about. The writing of a letter by a chairman of a different club, in a different league in a different country, somehow makes our supporters criticise Stewart Milne. Embarassing. The club is in a bad way just now because of our under performing football players, not our chairman.

James Corden is quite funny, in my opinion. I really don't understand why so many of you dislike him.

Despite having a piss-poor playing surface, a small and inexperienced squad, and despite taking them over when they were worse off than the Dons.....Craig Brown is pretty much an example of everything that McGhee isn't.
He's organised, a good tactician, gets the best out of his players, is respected in the game, and knows when to keep his mooth shut and not to make a fool out of himself.
We made a mistake not going for him rather than a buffoon who isn't big enough for the job, who has lost the confidence of the players, is tactically lacking, and who blames everybody and everything for his own failings.
I take it you were calling for Craig Brown to be our new boss before McGhee was appointed then? If not, then your original post is the biggest pile of nonsense I've read on here for a while. It's easy to say what we should have done differently in hindsight, now that we are in a difficult situation.
MM is our manager now, and we need to get behind him, as we sure as hell can't afford to be sacking/paying anyone off at present.

Been watching Lambing Live. Good show.
-
Why is your pitch so shit?
Yeah thank fuck we can still boast about our own lush green playing field
-
Will the players take any notice of this, though? They haven't in the past.
In one sense, it's good to hear these comments from MM. If he truly meant them, though, wouldn't the likes of Kerr and McDonald been dropped by now? Kerr, in particular, looks out of his depth at present - hopefully he is just going through a poor run of form. We create virtually nothing from the middle of the park, which is simply not good enough.
In conclusion, please sign a playmaker.

Did anyone actually see anyone spitting at him?
I know we have some trumpets in our support but I'd be astounded if anyone would actually spit at our manager, especially when he's one of our greatest ever players.
I didn't buy his claim that the people of Aberdeen are cold towards him and unless someone can tell me otherwise, I'm not buying this either.
Lets face it, it's very unlikely that someone would spit on the manager. If he's making stuff like that up; well that's very sad.

Fantastic game!!

I don't quite understand how Willie Miller has run up debts of £1 million, yet he can still afford to drink champagne in swanky bars.
Shouldn't he have lost his house, car etc by now? No? Someone please enlighten me.
-
It's all relative.
He got a free strike from inside the box, as Celtic's centre half was injured at the time and wasn't able to close him down at all. It was an ok strike, nicely placed into the corner. One goal doesn't make him a great player; hopefully he can bag a few more while out on loan and return to us a better player.
-
Absolutely delighted with this deal to be honest.
Miller has been a passenger in too many games.
Whether that was down to his lack of effort, or us playing the wrong style of game for him, I don't know - but a 5 figure fee and the chance to rebuild the strike force in the summer sounds good to me...
A five figure fee would have seemed likely to many of us, so to get £500,000 is AMAZING
-
Very important game for us - have to be taking three points from this sort of game at home. I will be very surprised if we don't record a good victory.
-
Press and Journal reporting that we actually got £600,000 for him...

The Boro fans don't seem too happy with this signing...
-
£500,000 is a FANTASTIC piece of business for us, in my opinion. If we don't get anyone in on time to replace him, then we might just start playing some nice football up top as opposed to lumping the ball forward to mIller all the time.
Front three of Aluko, Pawlett and any one of Mackie,McGuire,Paton,New Striker will do me fine.

He'll be a British sporting legend now because he cried live on telly.
All the best to him for the future, but he needs Federer to have a few bad days at the office if he's ever going to win a Grand Slam.
Can't agree with that.
1: Murray has shown in the past that he can beat Federer.
2: Murray grew into the match yesterday, and was very unlucky not to win the third set
3: There is a six-year age gap between them, so Federer will likely retire first... So Murray will likely be winning Grans Slams after Fed retires. And will more than likley win a few before Fed retires as well.

Why did I not find out about this webiste earler?!
27 Jan 2010 17:07:45Vitória Guimarães striker Kamani Hill is on trial at Aberdeen and is likely to sign soon.
27 Jan 2010 14:51:20Aberdeen's Tommy Wright could be heading for Kilmarnock as a free agent till the end of the season.
Calderwood brought Wright to Aberdeen, however the Englishman has failed to start under Mark McGhee, and has only appeared twice as a substitute.
Calderweeod is expected to offer him a short term contract to get him notcied again.
Kris Iwelumo has also been linked with the club. Iwelumo has a good relationship with Claderwood from when they were both in the Dutch league several years back.
It is understood that the Ayrshire lad – who grew up only 4 miles from Rugby park – is eager to get back playing first team football and to gain back his fitness, and could play for the SPL team to do so, with a quick release clause in his loan deal in order to help struggling Wolverhampton in the run into the end of the season!
-
Great news.
Hopefully AFC don't use this an an opportunity to say the likes of: "Getting Fraser on a new deal is like signing a new player", instead of ACTUALLY signing a new player.

Aberdeen will sign Sunderland striker David Healy on loan until the end of the season.
Taken from football rumours website. He'll have to bide his time to get into the first 11 with Mackie in his current form.

Not sure who I want to win the other semi now. Murray has a good record against Federer, while Tsonga is prone to the odd performance of genius. Should be a great final either way.

Did Kluivert get a club?
Saw him playing live on ESPN last night for Zidane XI v Benfica XI - he has put on a bit of weight, lacks pace, and his finishing was rubbish. Could do a job for us IMO.

Celebrity Big Brother is very entertaining this year - have been watching every night.
Also been watching a lot of UFC on ESPN America, as well as NHL. Shame the live games start around midnight.
Deadliest catch is also becoming a firm favourite of mine, having not watched it for a few months.
