All very well and good saying that if they players are performing on a Saturday then fair enough.......But they arnt - If they are allowed to drink the only time they should be doing it is to celebrate a win. You would think after only winning 3 league games this year something would have been done, but yet again we have to wait for something like this to happen before the wake up call is noted. Now we are without our best midfielder in the most important game of the season. Potentially maguire too if the club decided to take action. Dont expect this sort of behavior from profesional football players, what sort of example is this giving to the younger players at the club if they see the people they are trying to emulate behave like this?

Havnt been trying very hard then as i can only recall us winning three times in the league this year, Celtic, Hamilton and Cally? I could be wrong (lets face it, that doesnt happen often)

We didnt HAVE to win those games, it was only more benaficial to win those games

Cant see us beating hibs but saying that, when we go out to win games we look very good, plus we always seem to win when we have too, if we go out and take the game to hibs we will win. On the other hand i cant see rangers winning at tannadice they looked shit against us on saturday - if we were two nil down at half time im convinced we would have won a point if not more. They looked gash once weir got tired and we actually ran at them. Any heres hoping we can do it, if not they we should all still be happy that calderwood will get his jotters

This is true although 5 point swing is not impossible the way we are playing just now makes it tricky - had we won one of the motherwell / hibs games would put us in good shape for a wee go at hearts. This is true hearts do have a much bigger wage bill then us but if you look at them over the games against us this season i dont think they are a better team. I think we have an excellent side and its always been my beef with calderwood that he doesnt see the potential for great things up here. Since Jan 2007 he has been scared to get beat and if you want to be succesful you have to take risks, which if you look at his best results - its games where we have had to win.

I couldnt really care what you or funster or the rest of the folk on here think. Guys like funster etc are fucking brilliant in real life but for some reason on here they feel the need to play to the crowd. Like i said damned if you do damned if you dont, at least we had the bottle to try something when all those that said they would help out botttled it. You lot are making more out of this then there was instead of looking at the real issue - why are we so far behind hearts and why arnt we playing in the scottish cup semi in a couple of weeks. Surely if you cared about the club as much as you pretend to you would be able to answer that question. We are closer to the bottom of the league then we are the top - that just aint right.
