Foster has been rotten this season whereas last season he finally found his niche.  This season he's been doing a Zander and taking a year off having believed his good press.

Ah said it already min, the boy's a fucking terrible fitba player.  Yes he set-up Mackie in Dnipro, and yes he scored the 4th against Copenhagen, but that's not enough to cover his shortcomings.

Not helped by being shifted about the team and not consistently playing at left back like he was last season.

The boy's not a left-back though is he?  And he certainly aint a left-winger.

I never thought much of Foster. Thought he was one of the weak links in the team, but this season he's really managed to fit in well with the team.

Well I meant more players that are ours or have a more realistic chance (ie Maybury) of being so.

Ah, would like to get him back after the summer though.

Would have liked to have kept Nicholson and Miller, but out of that list, we only need/want Maybury to sign. The rest aren't even worthy of polishing Angus' boots.

I also think that efter last season, and the Euro run, some o the players think they're better than they actually are.

We've too many players that a) aren't good enough, b) haven't been makin the effort wik in wik oot, c) are too prone to errors/injuries, d) or are quite simply past it.  Langfield, Byrne, McNamara, Severin, Lovell, Mackie, Duff, Foster, all 3 of the Smiths, Mair, Soutar, Considine, Maguire and Bus all fall under one, or more, of these in ma opinion.

I dinnae understand the problem wi De Visscher and Touzani, as they've usually performed well in the games they've played in, so that's why they dinnae feature in the above list.

One thing, that I admit is based a little on personal opinion, and a lot on what I have read on here, is enjoy a large selection and variety of nice restaurants. For a lot of players (if they are not into the pub/club thing) I would assume this would form a large part of their social life.

There's a whole host o good restaurants in Aberdeen, so that disnae wash wi me am afraid.

that save reekie mentions was an absolute BLINDER.  I would have cheered that if leighton or snelders made it.  Going by the fact a "striker" made the save made it all the better.
