  1. Would be funny if after spending their hard earned giro's on the new strip the liquidators come in and say thats not legal, new company so you can't have the same strip and logo as the old company.

That's a point, didn't Volkswagen get a bit of a shock when they bought Rolls Royce? They couldn't use the RR logo or name as it was sold to the Gas Turbine Division of Rolls Royce. Could be cool if someone bought the Rangers Badge and trademarks, making newco start from scratch!

  2. Hmm, Whilst I don't agree with most of what Caledonia says, I do believe he has a right to say it!

However if it was some sort of pro-Celtic propaganda, then a fair explanation of why it was deleted/removed should maybe be put up? It does smack to the untrained as a personal agenda against him (or her) with no explanation why. And whilst the wee in-jokes are mildly amusing they don't really do anybody any favours!

I do believe that tims/huns are two cheeks of the same arse and as a site it would be wrong to seem to pander to one whilst clearly fucking hating the other (we should be seen to be hating both). And if that was the case for deleting the post, then say so! If its just cos you don't like him then thats OK too but say so!

Ahem, sorry I'll go back to finish this bottle of Red!

  3. In a statement it said: "Liquidation will enable a sale of the football assets to be made to a new company, thereby ensuring that football will continue at Ibrox.

"The solemn promise I can make to Rangers fans today is that this club will continue as Rangers Football Club and will continue to play at Ibrox Stadium," said Yorkshireman Green.

Is it beyond the realms of possibility that a land developer or other such company could come in and try to buy Ibrox for more than Green is offering?  ;D

It seems to me that they are banking on Green being the only bidder for the ground, Murray park etc But surely if anybody bids more than Green for the individual assets, then they have as much rights, maybe even more so to buy them? I'd guess the creditors would have a say in that too?

    Just sayin!

  4. From the BBC

Rangers' Murray Park training ground may be renamed

Prospective Rangers owner Charles Green is to ask fans to vote on renaming Murray Park, the club's training ground at Milngavie, just outside Glasgow.

Green is suggesting fans name the facility after Moses McNeil, a Rangers founder, or the late Ibrox winger Davie Cooper when they renew season tickets. Blah blah blah

How about selling the fucking thing to pay off some of the debts? Surely they can't be allowed to keep that?

  5. Sweeeeeeeeeeeet! When ye get crook from the grog ye can sleep in the back  8)

I saw a Holden Ute a Bridge of Dee a month or so ago - weird looking things

The V8 ones are a bit mental, 500 hp to the back wheels with no weight on them, mental! Driven by nuggets usually though!

  6. And Passing exams improves intelligence does it?

Are the young 'uns more intelligent cos more of them pass exams?

But more of them get the chance to sit exams!

  7.

No they fucking don't. Fuck off with this shit.

They seem determined to drive the fans away. They've seen the surveys. They can't say they weren't warned when fans fuck off in their droves. ARGH!

Seems to me that if they keep saying it they think we will believe it and be happy enough for newco huns to stay in the SPL with little or no punishment just because 'we need them'!

Needs a couple SPL chairmen to step up and say something!

Fan power is nothing against a meedja campaign.

  8. I particularly liked this bullshit from Roger Mitchell.

He told BBC Radio Scotland: "The clubs vote principally through self-interest and they will all have had a word with their bank managers, who will have said 'whatever you do, make sure you still have revenue from a television deal and from Rangers fans coming through the turnstyles'.

"Rangers and Celtic basically finance the whole of the Scottish game.

    :hammer:

So a guy that was an integral part of the board and a guy who stated he didn't want to buy rangers and is a hibs fan.  Sounds like the dream team, and with Ticketus not involved just what will they be doing for cash?

Plenty more lols to come I'm sure.

Surely Ticketus haven't been stupid enough to sign up for a deal this dodgy? Also they must be some company to be able to pay out 20 odd million and not see any of it back, there must be 'something' going on there???

  10. http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/rstsite/latest-rst-news/454-rst-reaction-to-draconian-sfa-penalties

Hitting Rangers in this way is in stark contrast to the soft justice dished out to Neil Lennon last week for a string of offences in which he questioned the integrity of the referees and officials. The SFA appears to have one set of rules for one club yet a completely different set for the other.

Magic! Different punishments for different offences is unfair now is it!! Still the same old, Deflect deflect deflect!!

  11. So was Varga actually worth the hype MBT?  Never actually spoken to anyone who saw him play.  I know he replaced Cruijff when he left Ajax for barca so he must have had something about him

My old man has always told me he (Varga) was just too good for Aberdeen, was playing balls into spaces that the other players didn't even know were there, let alone get into them!
