To me, he's a scapegoat to a lot of fans and always will be (not necessarily to you Reekie) who has a better scoring record than Lee Miller. He's not a brilliant player but we're stuck with him for the time being.

Do we have to have this thread every 3 months? He's proved in the past he can score 13 and 15 goals in a season. We're stuck with him until we get somebody better. Tommy Wright might be the man, but by all accounts he could be a similar type player to Lee Miller.

Had one for about 10 seasons now, got one again for this season. Got fuck all else to do on a Saturday afternoon.

I heard they were keeping it in place for the rest of the season, to help JDV go up the wing a bit quicker.

That's right, and Mulgrew could play so Zander, Seve and Mulgrew could all start.

Surely 06/07 was his best season seeing as the thread is about his lack of goals? Wouldn't surprise me if he gets double figures this season. I also think he's a better option than Bebo, who at 19 is not making the breakthrough that Mackie was at that age (2001/02 season). I still think he's a useful squad player providing we have a couple of good strikers who are better than him and more deserving of a starting place.

We've had good/bad pre-seasons in the past followed by good/bad starts to SPL campaigns in the past, lets see how we get on when it really matters (although a goal in pre-season would be nice!). Very disappointing result on Friday but I'm not losing any sleep over it, mainly because I'm on sleeping tablets at the moment.
