Can't quite decide what to make of This Is England 86. It was okay, but pretty slow stuff over four episodes. Another violent scene in tonight's final episode. I think they should have just perhaps left it at the film though! But at least we got a reminder of the Hand of God!

Two nights at the Barras would have been better.

After some considered reflection, I've decided that the Freebass and Charlatans albums aren't particularly good IMHO. Both have done the opposite of grow on me.

Diamond and Ifil have been utterly terrible today. Whole defence looks like a shambles. Playing Ifil at right back is clearly not working.

Agreed, shame it's not the Barras. People turning up at Scream gigs wanting to hear Rocks and Country Girl should be shot. At least they won't be getting played at the Screamadelica gigs.
