  1. Lack of investment? tell me another manager who has jimmys budget to work with......outside hearts and the OF - he spent the most money in the summer too outwith those clubs? spending more then twice as much as what united, and the other teams are around us.

So Derek Riordan only cost Hibs 100k.....dream on!

The argument is also f*cking stupid - it doesn't matter what we send in relation to other clubs - it's what we spend in relation to our takings, which last year >£1M - what did we spend - about £200k

    THAT is lack of investment.

  2. Who pressed the panic button.

Going into the Rangers game we were the form team in the SPL - based on the previous 10 games.

Now we lose one, and we have dropped behind Rangers, but are still 2nd best SPL side in the last 10 games.

Where has all this negativity come from - can't help but think there are a large number of (nutters) waiting for EVERY slip up so they can push the JMG button.

Get behind the team, let's have Hearts and Dundee United in the next 2 league games, and take 3rd for ourselves.

  3. 2 problems - jimmy prob doesn't want most of the players to go - the players or the board do

2nd - there is no ambition by the board to replace losses

It's all well and good showing a profit, but that's for a season with a euro run and bumper player sales.

We saw little investment of that cash, and this year, no euro run and we will lose players for nowt at season end.

There is no point in hanging on to players, whoever, if they walk at the end of deals. If we get nothing for them we don't have the money to replace them, even if it could be prized out of "Aberdeen's number one fan" stewarty Milne.

  4. So, we've got a clueless manager, a captain who doesn't know the meaning of the word, strikers that can't score, a goalkeeper called 'Clangers' (that's just a nickname), no youth system, Ricky Foster, a chairman who's as tight as duck's arse, a football director that doesn't knock on enough doors, and a stadium that's falling to bits.

  5. I think I must have missed the last few seasons of this Seve player some people are talking about.

He had one, maybe two good seasons for us and has been in decline ever since. Turning up for a game here or there is just not cutting it.

As for his captaincy, he was the captain who led us to two embarrassments at the semi-final stage of both cup competitions last year.

Even worse, he has stated his desire to walk out on us, and we will receive nothing, yet people defend him.

He cares not a bit about AFC, and I cannot believe fellow fans are 'wishing him well' and patting him on the back.

I'm nae going to lose sleep over it, losing Nicholson last year was a bigger blow than losing Seve will be.

  6. Seve going - I'm not too fussed, at one time he signalled the ambition of the club, as time has gone on his form has suffered, he's out of the Scotland frame, he's getting on.

Will he be missed? Depends on who replaces him, givenrecent trends a young lad. Alsodepends who is doing the replacing, it might not be JC

Where will he go? Hearts - selling club who need some experienced players - or - fallirk with all the other old men.

Not surprised and plenty of time to find a replacement

    Zander for capt

  7. It all depends on the outcome of the old firm going.

If a league without the infirm still allows us to nominate Champions League side(s) and Europa League places, then the quality would not diminish at all - we'd be without the two "best" sides just now, but with the rest of the teams in with a shout of silverware, I think the quality would actually improve as players would be queueing up to join us.

It's got nothing to do with money, look at Aluko, begged Calderwood to rescue him from Blackpool, this lad Vidal, they WANT to play for a side in with a shout of Europe. Aluko (and Walker) know what it's like to play Bayern, because of the Dons. Without the OF we are title contenders, Champions League qualifiers, or Europa League qualifiers. They don't care about the money, they want to play top euro sides, and they see playing for the likes of AFC as a way of doing it (with or without the ugly sisters)

  8. The OF are quick enough to cry about decisions at Pittodrie - the Huns earlier this year complaining about a completely valid offside decision - now the tims with their 'whistle went' crying,

then you get that sort of bollocks at Ibrox. Penalties? they shouldn't have even had one pen, never mind the 4 they are bleating for.

(Never mind the Red cards? If they were red then we'd end every game of football in Scotland as 3-a-side.)

After sunday, I am expecting a big backlash from the Old firm in black this weekend.

We'll finish with less than 11, and have at least one pen against us.

  9. Maybe JC does know what he's doing and the tombola talk and hassle he receives should stop.

    +1

It'll stop when he goes this month and then we will realise what he really did for us - when we replace him with Sandy Clarke.

  10. Diagnosis is far from thier forte.

I disagree, in one session with a good physio I had a much better diagnosis, then about 10 visits to my gp and a referral to a osteologist (albeit you only ever get seen by a registrar rather than the consultant). He has worked wonders in comparison with the gp, consultant and NHS physio.

Having said that, finding a decent physiotherapist isn't easy either, but having lived with and seen many students work through the medical system at AU, I would always seek many many opinions before trusting anyone.
