£175K for Hart or £500K for Hart & Clark?
FFS Jimmy!!! Sell them both!!!!
We were never offered 500k for both.

Miller and Lovell have had spells in the SPL with other clubs when they have looked liked cracking forwards and regular goal scorers. The question has to be asked what has happened to them? Miller is arguably having a decent season but he is not contributing enough goals. What has happened to these guys? Is it their own attitude? Is it down to Jimmy squared and their stooge Sandy?
The form of the team of late has been very poor and it has led me to question the leadership of the team for the first time in Calderwood's tenure.

Hart to Plymouth.
My first ever exclusive bears fruit!

Do you want it?
That's rather forward of you.

£275k for Hart and Clark, both with only 6 months left on their contract?
TAKE IT.
Aye, totally. Daylight robbery.
-
Or it could simply mean that wages saved go back in to the pot?

I am sure I read that one of the qualifications Vlad is looking for in his new manager is knowledge of the 'British' game.

Are these motors still a perk of the job or do the players actually waste their money on them?

Anybody read any of Oliver James's work? I'm awaiting delivery of 'The Selfish Capitalist - the origins of Affluenza' on the back of seeing him interviewed. He seems to talk a fair bit of sense.

I think somebody said it in the Caldwood stalemate post - if we can survive Fergie farking off then we can sure to hell survive Calderwood jacking it. Calderwood is a competent manager; he is certainly no management genius. Granted it is early days but Motherwell have proven that there are decent managers who can get a team playing good attacking football on a budget of next to feck all. IMHO my worry is that the press conference reveals that Jimmy is staying on.

I totally agree with you mate, but we just need to look at the simple example of players kissing the badge, then leaving clubs at the first sniff of more green. The only clubs in Scotland that I'd understand any of the four going to would be the Old Firm, as at least they then have a chance of glory.
It's the difference between football being a sport, to a business. Money rules unfortunately.
It was interesting to read that McGhee has conceded the league title to the Old Firm on the BBC site. Has Calderwood ever conceded the League title before? As in, has he ever stated that it was his ambition to win the league before? Unrealistic? Maybe, but it was still refreshing to to hear a manager talk about finishing first or second and not just going for 3rd place.
I think Calderwood is a competent manager at best and it is probably the best time for him to get a move to a mediocre English club that he craves as rebulding the Dons could set him back a couple of years.

I saw that een Reekster, I am just clinging to the hope that the fecker does decide to move on. Cannae see it though.

............ with the exception of Clark, who apparently has to leave Aberdeen
Where did this come from BigAl? Have I missed something in the press?
-
I was in the South Stand and in all the years of going to Aberdeen Rangers games I have to say that was the worst atmosphere I have sampled. Probably a lot to do with how crap Aberdeen were that day.

Who voted Foster??

Ebbe is a Brondby and Dons man.

cheers min, I ran out of famous Danes!
-
Byrne had Allback in his back pooch. Very well done son.

I agree. He was quality last night. When this loon concentrates he is the best keeper in Scotland.

...Michael Laudrup, Preben Elkjaer, Hans Christian Anderson, Lars von Trier, Aqua, The Little Mermaid, King Hamlet, Thumbelina, Stig Tofting, Queen Margethe II..... your team took one hell of a beating!

Is he the dude who visited Ibrox and couldn't believe how poisonous the place was / is?
-
I wonder if he'll show all the Scotland boys his abs...
-
If true then Barry Nic.

arguably did the worst piece of business in football when he swapped Billy Dodds plus cash for Robbie Winters.
It was Alex Miller who conducted that abysmal piece of business min. I met Ebbe a couple of times and he is a top top bloke. I have to agree though that he just didn't get the results.

All those crunching tackles have left him a cripple? Chris Clark, one of football's hard men.
