Kusini Yengi according to folk on the socials. Was well thought of in the A league, helped Pompey get promoted from league 1 but had an injury hit season and not been re-signed. Interesting one and not one Iād have picked, but thatās also not my job. Obviously seeing something that will work with how Jimmy wants to play, and obviously free.Ā
Interesting read - feels a little Pape Gueye MkII

Ambrose would've saved that.Ā 1-3 Iceland
-
Sub keeper is having a nightmare.Ā Ā 1-2 Iceland

Another one puntedĀ
Spurs in the market for a new manager.
Fucking cut throat down there, deliver a European trophy and punted. I know 17th in the league isn't a great finishing place for them but did think the trophy might just have bought him up to the end of the calendar year or so.
Thats...mental.Ā Surely they should be delighted he managed to bag them all that lovely Champions league money without the usual faff of having to win all those tedious league games?

ĀĀ£20m? Thatās fuck all, they must spend most of that sacking managers.Ā
might be enough for them to break even this year though

Did anyone see Mcgrath hug Thelin during the post pen celebrations?Ā His eyes pure lit up when he saw him then he launched himself at him to hug.Ā I thought that was quite interesting given Mcgrath didn't even get a place in the squad and is also leaving. It shows impressive man management if you ask me.Ā
Tbf it was probably the emotion of it being his last chance to win a cup in Scotland.

Anyone know who our 5th penalty taker was going to be? Not that we needed 5 to beat Celtic.
Knoester.

Hopefully the lads in recruitment are still pished, and we spunk some wild levels of cash in the next couple of days. We've all done it.
Looking forward to our new signing Charlie Smirnoff.

Mitov is MOTM for me, he won us the cup three times - the save from Maeda, and the two penalty stops.
But the fact we've all got different nominees says a lot about the team today, kudos to Thelin for finding the right strategy but by christ could we do that a bit earlier in the season next year please?

What does this mean for Europe?
It means that 5th is a distant memory - we take the euro slot for 3rd in Hibs place.

I'd prefer mitov to stop kicking the ball out or back to them.
I will be more than happy for Mitov to kick the ball back to them now.

Well, here we are.Ā Ā Intae them.

5th, a cup final, and Europe. Decent season.
And yet.Ā In the context of how much it has been in our own hands to secure finishing higher, 5th feels like something of a self-inflicted disaster.

Suprised Ambrose is coming on, had assumed Thelin was keeping him back as our cup final secret weapon.
-
If St Mirren win tonight, it remains mathematically possible we could finish the season 6th and miss out on Europe.Ā Didn't see that coming.
