Well - Dons - Xmas eve (kiwi time ;) )

05_motherwell_aberdeen_preview_web_evening_match.jpg

Not that Christmas is the same for anyone this year, but traditionally this would have been a decent booze up. 'Well are on a terrible run of form at the moment both away and at home.  They have conceded 7 goals in the last three games alone, and I daresay that covid gifting them a game or two has papered over their cracks.

Be interesting to see how we line up for this one with McRorie being suspended for the next one. Still, personally think he's far better suited to midfield than at RB, and we can't be chopping and changing. That's precisely what McInnes does and what we hate.  Also, please no Main and Cosgrove partnering.

Unlikely that I'll be able to sneakily get this on, but we'll see.

Cleaning or work
1-0 Dons, McRorie

Maybe christmas eve where you are but not here

Is it still the case only cinemas are allowed to open on xmas day over there and technically you cant checkout of a hotel til boxing day?

1-0 to someone

Motherwell were in a shite run of form before the first meeting this season and we somehow managed to lose 3-0 so them being in another shite run does not really fill me with confidence. Saw a stat earlier that said in 11 of last 12 meetings between the sides the team that got the first goal went on to win the game. Can see that being same again on Wednesday. Motherwell stream is £12 which is decent.

Hadn't realised that stat was relevant to that many of the previous meetings. Better hope we get the first goal then!

Have we lost a game where we've been in front this season? It's a fairly rare thing under McInnes to be fair to him.

Vaguely remember them saying something like that on Sunday.

Ah, that makes sense, I didn't think I came up with that stat on my own, I must have heard it on the commentary.

Boost that Hoban is fit.

Looks like a decent line up

Great to see Hoban in and amongst it. Agree MBT, looks like a decent line up. COYR

Same team as last week? Would like to see McLennan playing advanced again. Kennedy fine out wide, but I thought he was poor when he played near the striker. McLennan just needed a bit of composure and he'd have had a good game against killie, so definitely worth another shot.

Said since Sunday that I hadn't actually seen it confirmed by the club that he was going to be out for six to eight weeks despite all the doom and gloom

Hopefully worked on our movement and link up play a bit. Could be a good game,COYR

So far, that’s been my assessment of his career

Very comfortable for first half hour but only 1 real chance which Main missed from 3 yards. Motherwell came into it a bit more last 15 but without working Joe.

mcrorie been quiet . seems to be less central

Ferguson not really dominating in there either
