St Mirren v Aberdeen

So onto Paisley on Saturday in a busy month of fixtures.

Although we've beaten them comfortably twice already this season not sure it'll be as straightforward on Saturday.

If however we turn up from the start and play with the intesity of last night's second half then I expect us to be leaving with three points.

As said in the Livi thread, same team as started second half last night unless of course Devlin is 100% recovered in which case he comes in for Considine

1-2 ( Cosgrove & May)

Featured Replies

seems this formation is working may and cosgrove actually look like a threat, fergie needs a rest , good win

Win was the most important thing this weekend, almost had to have another lie down when I saw it was Cosgrove and may on the score sheet

How was McLennan yesterday, for those that saw/were at the game?

Yet another bad challenge to gain them the free kick that led to their goal by McKenna.

If that was considine or Logan they’d get slaughtered. No one every blames McKenna for nothing yet he’s been at fault either fully or partly for lots of goals we’ve conceded.

Am I really the only one that sees this?

Yeah,he’s young and will make mistakes but let’s not jump on the backs of Considine and Logan at every opportunity.

MacLennan had a poor game by recent standards, but not sure anyone else was much better.Hoping conditions were the main factor and he/we can up our games on tuesday.

Be good if GMSs aspirin starts taking effect,...a good time of year to kick on a bit.

McLennan was really poor but you can’t really fault his youthful effort. He’s clearly been told to take people on but that’s pretty much all he did regardless of if it was the right decision or not. He also fumbled and fell over the ball quite a bit I thought. Didn’t get much success from it yesterday, hope his decision making improves sooner rather than later.
