'Singing Section' (Sic) - Cup Final

Got to highlight this as a means of highlighting how utterly incompetent and out of touch the people who run Aberdeen FC are with fans.

In response to a demand/request for a singing section for Dons fans at the Cup final v Celtic (two days after putting tickets on sale) word has materialised that there is some sort of singing section at Hampden.

Is it in the North Stand - already sold out - NO.

Is it in the West Stand very front cheering on the team - NO

Is it in the corner of the West / North Stands - NO

Will the 'singing section' (sic) be at the very back of the West Stand the furthest possible location as far away from the action and the players as possible - YES.

When you also look at the fact that this 'singing section' has never been communicated properly, no SLO in place yet and Celtic will have its biggest ever organised singing section at the front of the East Stand for the Cup final our club clearly has issues with its own fans.

Pathetic.

Not really, you're just bitter as Kingsford is dying on its arse.

Is It?

I must nave missed that when I was catching up with AFC/Aberdeen/Northeast news from my friends at bide there

singing section? really getting bent out of shape over the lack of or placement of a singing section. ok, no bugger can do anything nowadays without telling the whole world but its a cup final ffs. we used to do pretty well in them on and off the park with bugger all organisation. granted ground was terraced, still, get on yer bus or train have a couple of cans and the support will be just fine.

Having a singing section wouldn't do any harm. We can say as much as we like "it's a cup final, shouldn't need a singing section" yet everyine acknowledges the same problems - groups of mates not sitting together, families wanting to sit down, not enough songs.

I find it odd that Aberdeen are so committed to a family section at Pittodrie, yet haven't allocated a few sections for families this time.

SLO - the club do have one, Ally Prokter. He hasn't been very visible and hopefully the new one is a lot more involved.

Whos this Kingsford roaster?

Whos this Kingsford roaster?

I'm surprised none of you donsmadders recognise Euromeister. Clear as day.

Despite being a refuge for virtual chat, anonymous rants and various conspiracy theories about your club, football forums also tend to be populated by people guessing identities.  In the case of Donstalk / Aberdeen Mad there has always been a sense of 'fa is he/she' behind things despite the integrity of anonimity being crucial to the entire thing.
