With 8 games to go until the split we sit in 6th position on 32 points (after 25 games). The next 4 games sees us play the bottom 4 teams and finally two teams which you would be expecting to see in the top 6. What do you think the results will be and the subsequent points tally?

St Mirren (H) (11th)

Dundee (H) (12th)

Kilmarnock (A) (9th)

Ross County (H) (10th)

Motherwell (H) (3rd)

Celtic (A) (1st)

Hearts (H) (8th)

Dundee United (A) (7th)

------------------------

St Mirren (H) (11th) - Win

Dundee (H) (12th) - Win

Kilmarnock (A) (9th) - Draw

Ross County (H) (10th) - Win

Motherwell (H) (3rd) - loss

-----------

Last top 6 place

Hibs - 40 points - 2 games to play

Utd - 40 points - 2 games to play

Killie - 38 points - 3 games to play

Dons - 38 points - 2 games to play

Hibs: ICT (H), Celtic (A)

Utd: St J (A), Aberdeen (H)

Killie: Ross C (A), St M (H), Dundee (A)

Dons: Hearts (H), Utd (A)

For any chance for the top 6 we need to win both games. Hibs on paper should not be getting any more points, Utd even if they get a result away in Perth we would leap frog them. Killie with the extra game have a great chance by playing the bottom two and a +8 goal advantage on us.

St Johnstone should have won that easily.

Going to be a bizarre bottom six with the five city clubs all there while the small town clubs join the Tims in the top half. Wee trip to Edinburgh and Dundee post split makes me more likely to go to a few games and will be interesting to see if McInnes makes any immediate changes.

Should have a good chance of signing off with a win at tannadice on Sat

Killie without question.  I think it's a real kick in the teeth for us dons fans that we'll be bottom six in a season where Rangers are non existent, Hearts are in meltdown, and utd and hibs are shite.  I know top six hardly represents 'success' (as argued countless times during the JMG era), but ffs, the premier league is at an all time low in terms of quality, yet we still seem to have a decent squad of 'underachievers'.

Fecked off with the whole thing.  :(
