Scotland Squad for Australia

Squad announced for Australia game.

Scotland squad:

Charlie Adam (Liverpool)

Barry Bannan (Aston Villa)

Phil Bardsley (Sunderland)

Christophe Berra (Wolverhampton Wanderers)

Gary Caldwell (Wigan Athletic)

Don Cowie (Cardiff City)

Graham Dorrans (West Bromwich Albion)

James Forrest (Celtic)

Daniel Fox (Southampton)

Matt Gilks (Blackpool)

Grant Hanley (Blackburn Rovers)

Alan Hutton (Aston Villa)

Jamie Mackie (Queens Park Rangers)

Shaun Maloney (Wigan Athletic)

David Marshall (Cardiff City)

Russell Martin (Norwich City)

Allan McGregor (Besiktas)

James Morrison (West Bromwich Albion)

Charlie Mulgrew (Celtic)

Steven Naismith (Everton)

Matt Phillips (Blackpool)

Jordan Rhodes (Huddersfield Town)

Robert Snodgrass (Norwich City)

Andy Webster (Heart of Midlothian)

Despite Levien again claiming recently he has no problem with Ross McCormack he is again omitted from the squad and if we do not have a better option at left back than Danny Fox then we really are totally fucked.

That said will be attending this as its 5 minutes from the flat and festival drinking times and Scotland game should be an interesting experiment.

@brianoneil1972: Black getting booed by Scots fans.Takes me back to one Dons game!Wanted to tell them to eff off but didn't.Wud do now if I had the chance!

Just the one Dons game?

Not at international level he isn't

                                        G      W    D    L      Win ratio

Brown - (1993 - 2001) 70 32 18 20 45.71%

Levein - (2009 - Present) 20 10 3 7 50.00%

Really? Just looks like the same shit but over a longer period.

Granted, Brown got us to some finals. Even I could have got us to France 98 though.

Surprised by that, but you know what they say about statistics

Make of them what you will

Personally speaking don't rate Potter and his Arab side kick at international level

Anyone who plays zero strikers, especially in a must win game is a prick in my eyes.

The same statement applies to someone who picks and fields a third division scumbag.

I hate del Bosque too

I hate del Bosque too

He played Cesc as a striker.

He played Cesc as a striker.

Cesc isn't a striker though.

They still played for large parts as a 4-6-0, but got away with it as when they attacked, they had enough quality to turn it into 4-3-3. We had Mackie and Naismith  :hammer:

For me it was both games against the Czech republic which have sunk him. The first we know about and his negativity and trying to hold on in the Hampden game was atrocious.

Levein played 4-6-0.

Del Bosque played 4-3-3.

Del Bosque won Euro 2012.

Levein is a cunt.

He played up front for Barca for most of last season. Safe to say he can do both equally well.

boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ya dick

One of the worst signings Aberdeen Football Club have ever made imo...

If you take a closer look at Avril's record:

2x wins against Liechenstein

1x Faroes

1x Cyprus

1x N.Ireland reserves

1x Wales reserves

His record in competitive games is shocking.

Last night showed some positive signs though (finally)

Levein played 4-6-0.

Del Bosque played 4-3-3.

Del Bosque won Euro 2012.

Levein is a cunt.

Beautifully put Kow!

Scotland manager Craig Levein has admitted that SPL forwards Johnny Russell, Leigh Griffiths and Jamie Murphy are in his thoughts for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers

Those thoughts are "can any of them play in midfield?"
