Teddy Scott passes away

We speak about "legends" too easily these days.  Now Teddy Scott truly is a legend.

Mr Aberdeen sums him up, probably rightly so the most respected person ever associated with our club.

May you rest in peace in your treasure trove in the sky Teddy, one of the best.

RIP Teddy

RIP Teddy, a great man and a great servant to AFC.

I trust the club will give hime some sort of proper memorial rather than just black armbands at the first home game.

The boy wiz ace. I mind his testimonial. Never seen so much flash bulbs as when Beckham had the ball on the right wing on the Main Stand side attacking the Merkland. Beckham was an impressive athlete then, a hugely strong runner.

Teddy Scott RIP. A great man, who's greatness was mainly down to his straightforwardness. A no bullshit gentleman dandie.

Funeral of Aberdeen FC legend Teddy Scott due to be held

The funeral of Aberdeen Football Club legend Teddy Scott is due to be held after his death at the age of 83.

Mr Scott joined the Dons as a player in the 1950s and served the club for 50 years as a coach and kit man.

He was a key member of Sir Alex Ferguson's backroom team, served under more than a dozen managers, and had a testimonial against Manchester United, before retiring nine years ago.

The funeral is at Ellon Parish Church from 11:00.

The club said it was "deeply saddened" at the death of a "true legend

Sir Alex Ferguson was in Ellon for the Funeral this morning.

I can't think of anyone else in Aberdeens history who was so highly thought of and respected by so many.

Teddy Scott, when will we see your like again?  :(
