TheDonbytheDee Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Streeting expected to announce a challenge to Starmer tomorrow. It's a bit when Aberdeen change their manager, not a lot to get overly excited about. Quote

It's got to be Burnham They need to get him back into Westminster and have a proper challenge from someone people will get behind, and who can (arguably) do a decent job. Any leadership challenge before then - Streeting or any of the current lot - is just folly. I have been a lifelong labour supporter (with tactical voting to keep the right out depending where I may be residing at the time), but have been becoming increasingly disappointed with their efforts over the last god know how long (edit: since they put the wrong Milliband in charge I reckon). Keir has been a real let down when if he had some balls he could have made some real change to benefit everyone. I think (deep down) he has decent intentions, but just can't cut it and is trying to please too many people - resulting in doing nothing to please anyone. I don't think he's a cunt like many people like to shout. He's just incapable of doing anything with the absolute shit show he inherited. I would vote green if there was an election tomorrow. That said, where I live had been tory for over 100 years and went Lib Dem in the last election, so maybe I would keep going that way to do my bit to keep torries or reform out. As an aside - I have a friend who does not own a TV and avoids news at all costs. She had heard Starmers name on the radio and was vaguely aware of him. She was amazed when she saw a picture of him. She thought he was an Indian fella called Sakir Stama. I totally believe that - she is one of these highly intelligent, yet incredibly stupid folks. Edited 2 hours ago by CurlsLikeTattie Quote

They can’t seem to accept that not only are they wrong but the whole country hates them Streeting has the same Mandelson problem, ball deep in private medical care, a wafer thin majority, thoroughly unlikeable and just looks like an odious wee snivelling cunt If he gets the gig, he’ll be the last ever Labour leader. Which I suppose is the whole point 1 Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago (edited) If Labour applied the same level of attention to the country as a whole, as they do in fighting anti semitism, we wouldn't have a Reform problem. Starmer is just a dreep. Edited 1 hour ago by TheDonbytheDee Quote
