With Hartley retiring and Dimond leaving (fingers crossed) we'll need a new captain and vice captain.

 

I won't bother making a poll because I'll probably miss folk oot.

McKimmie was in the paper at the weekend suggesting it should be Foster!!!

Seems to me that the captaincy is being put out there as an incentive to sign. If that's the case, i"d be surprised if Stephen Hughes isn't on Jack and Victors radar. Should I be entirely mistaken, then Foster is a shoe in.

We could do worse. Now has CL  experience and has spent the last season with players who are used to winning and a manager who will settle for nothing less.

Actually, looking at the Aberdeen squad, there's a startling lack of leadership. 

 

Fuck it, Buchan was only 12 when he was handed the Aberdeen captaincy, why not give it to Fyvie... with the warning that if he fucks up he'll get a kicking from.. shit, we've no players capable of giving anyone a good kicking either... 

 

Maybe Hartley can come back once a week to just growl at the players. That'd be worth a wage in itself.
