Well done son. Might not do our chances of keeping him in the summer any harm if he realises he can get into the international set up whilst playing for us. On the other hand, if he plays and does well it'll probably convince some Premiership clubs to go for him.

Played pretty well if my memory serves me correctly.

Maguire was the worst Scotland player last night - he's miles off being in that team.

He was awful but to be fair he was probably really nervous as well.

 

McArdle was the worst player on the park.

He didn't exactly have much time to get into the swing of things to be fair. He's a bit too greedy to be effective in that team though.

I really wanted something to happen for him but he kept making the wrong choices, probably due to nerves and an over-eagerness to impress. He was on the right, on the left, through the middle, as said above, if he'd been given a bit longer and maybe a specific job to do he could have impressed more.

 

I hope he'll get another chance, but you have to say Scotland are getting a decent squad together and it will be hard for anyone (especially playing for unfashionable Aberdeen) to break into that team.

Mcardle really was awaful last night. Maybe Craig Brown will see that he is definitely not a right back.
